Hoping for some more greens, I wonder if the dose is getting a little stale? In the meantime, since Butch is up there in the lemon trees, send him over Mav's way, he's gonna start the bird watching tour shortly :cat:.

Good morning, Christie!
I am wondering the same thing about his dose getting a little stale. I think he might be in a bounce today, even though I was hoping for blue and green. I'll see what he does in this cycle. If he bounces or doesn't slide down, I think I will go to 1.75u. What do you think?
In the meantime, I'll send him over Mav's way to bird watch!

Not sure, but I think Butch might bounce :( If so, thinking of doing hair line increase from 1.75s to 1.75.

Could be that Butch is into another bouncette, not as high as the last one, although when he broke that, he only got to low blues. You can watch for a few cycles and see if he can get to greens, but it does seem to me like the nadirs are creeping up. I wonder what @Wendy&Neko thinks when she reads your tea leaves. She’s way better with that, I have to rely on my shenanigan meter, which isn’t always tuned up :bighug:

Thank you, Christie! I did feed him a mc the other night when he was in a blue cycle so he might have slid into the greens.
I'll wait to see if he can get to the greens. Also, what Wendy&Neko and Seinne and Gabby (GA) suggest.

Also, remember that the lower readings tend to not be wholly accurate with the Libre. They are likely higher if you were using a hand held meter.

Thank you so much! I'll start tonight's cycle with the 1.75.
I have done a handheld test when his numbers are low on the Libre, and they were pretty close in range. I think I might need a new handheld. The Contour Next that I am using was my mother's and we had it for many years.

I agree with the increase, it'd been too long since he's seen green and that last ones were high enough that you have room for an increase. We want a dose where he sees green almost every day, not once every few days. He also needs to get rid of those high numbers. An increase can help with that, though he'll probably need more than removing the skinny to do that.

Thank you so much. I started the increase last night to 1.75u. If no greens almost every day, I'll increase again.

Butch did slide into the greens later in today's cycle. Hopefully this increase will allow him to continue. Like you said bring down some of the higher numbers.
Soon I'll know is PMPS for tonight.
