A mostly blue AM cycle with an interesting almost green PMPS.

Her numbers have been trending better, but she still seems uncomfortable/maybe in some pain? The back half is off limits at the moment, and getting her to come out of the closet for shot time has been less than ideal the last couple of days. I can tell when she lays down that something is up, just the way she does. We increased her gabapentin last week in case it's her arthritis getting worse, and she got a shot of antibiotics on Wednesday for a possible UTI.
My fear is that we're getting close to a point where I'm gonna have to make a decision. My sister had her dog euthanized yesterday, but her vet had been recommending it since August, and he was in rough shape by the time she took him in yesterday (she wanted to earlier, but her husband wasn't ready). I obviously don't want to do so early, but I also don't want to wait until she's bad. I don't know, I'm just sad today.

Alicia, let’s hope the medicine helps! She has some nice looking BG numbers.

It’s okay to be sad… I have had days like that too and I think that’s normal in this process. Kit has some great things going for her, including you and the job you’re doing with her. I’ll be thinking of you guys :bighug:

Hi Alicia, I’m sorry to read Kit isn’t feeling well. I hope the meds help her feel better.
You are on top of everything with your sweet girl.
Thinking positive thoughts and sending good wishes and prayers to you and Kit :bighug::bighug::bighug:
