She was doing great yesterday and then she decided to have quiche for dinner. She ate a good portion of it: ham, cheese, leeks, milk and cream, and the dough, too. :banghead: I left it on the stove, forgot to hide it before leaving to drive my son to his rehearsal.
I am not sure how high she will go. She seemed very pleased with herself, so that's that, at least.

wow, Bella is really a little gourmet. I'm sure your quiche is divine! And her numbers are still great. Besides the dough, everything is proteine, right? Seems to lift her spirits, so I think it is acceptable once in a while to let her steal something. Hope you didn't end up hungry....

Thanks again for your coconut oil suggestion. I decided to give it a try and I think it works. It seems to penetrate the skin faster than she can lick it off. And because she loves coconut oil so much she lets me put it on. Another plus...

OH, I am glad it is helping!
BVella was looking at me while I was making it, she even had a lick of cream and some cheese, so she knew it was good ;) And yes, mostly protein. I don't think she ate too much of the crust, my husband arrived home in time to stop her!
 
I am sure it is annoying, but that story truly warms my heart, especially after what Bella has been through this year. The Quiche Bandit!

It made me laugh, especially after having seen her looking at what I was putting in it and trying to convince me to share ;)
114 tonight. She did not really go up because of it, I guess quiche is low on the high-carb food list that she likes (sourdough starter being the worst, that was something!).
