Good morning.

This is the 4th day after the dental. Still waiting to see the effect.
But Mikan may be showing some hint of recovery - she spent all afternoon yesterday in the sunny spot on the bed. I gave her a very gentle brushing on the head and cheeks. I think I heard slight, very faint, purring. Paws crossed for a better day today.

Hi Staci,
I was ecstatic to hear that tiny faint baby purrs! :)
She seems to be more up and about today - hope this is a sign that she's feeling better.
The numbers are still stagnating - I guess it takes time for all things to heal.
Nee whole-body patience suits :banghead:

Day by day but I think she's heading in the right direction!
I can spend more time with her over the weekend and see if i can give her a good brushing session!

Got to give it time to see better numbers, she is still healing. Poor baby went through a lot. Try and put those patience pants on . Enjoy spending more time with her this weekend, Sending kisses her way :bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
Kit, it's so hard when you can explain to them why they aren't feeling good :(. Good job with the pills and getting through it! Mikan will be back to normal very soon!

I'm so bad with the patience pants :p But you are so right. Still some more days to go for Mikan.
I'm hoping to spend more time with her on weekend - she's really matted on the chest and tummy. I cut some of it but she still has a lot of little matts :(
It's not like her but I guess it's been hard for her to groom herself well.
Her numbers are still high but I hope she'll behave more active and happy today!

Hi Karen,
I was ECSTATIC when I heard the faint purrs. She still looks a bit weary in general :( but hopefully, I'll see more signs of recovery over the weekend.

I know - I wish she could talk! Didn't someone come up with a cat-human translator? Or maybe it was a dog thing?
They say diabetic kitties heal slower than nondiabetic kitties - I'll be patient (ewww, not very good at it :(). Thanks for the kind words!
