hello! :)

well, i got comfortable with the stated idea here/observation that if +2 is higher than PS then the cycle will be sorta quiet/not as active.. but have had a few instances where that didn’t happen. Went to decent greens when didnt expect it.. Have determined the +3, then, is important to get, too, to check the +2 reading..

This happens?…
(Now I kind of dont trust just +2s to foresee how cycle might be haha..) Kind of a shame, cuz it does help w planning things etc.. but what can do. Or maybe can lend some ideas. Any appreciated. :cat:
 
I've always been a big watcher on +2. It sounds logical that it could change though since it's early on in the cycle still. I have not seen it yet, but I will keep my eye on it since things can become so unpredictable with Pumpkin. :cat:
 
The +2 can be helpful but it's not definitive of whether it will be an active cycle. Remember, it can be a red flag but the nadir is likely later than +2 in the majority of cats. In addition, Pudge's numbers are looking good.

and tysm.. ok. yeah was just trying to see if that was kind of a solid rule but its not.. generally tho its shown true, but finding at these lower numbers.. nope for us once or twice. :rolleyes::bookworm::coffee:

and i see.. well for a long time it was showing true, but at these lower numbers, its been active once or twice i didnt expect. so i just gauge it off +3-4 also i guess haha..

tysm!!.. :bighug: well the last time there were 50s it was late at night and it was very hard.. im having difficulties monitoring at night rn; theres a lot going on and we have been doing things for months now.. things have caught up a little. :blackeye: so for safety reasons i wanted to try to see if we could get away w bypassing them; the last thing wanted is to not be able to be up to manage them.. couldn't hurt to see. if anything would just go back. there was a low 60 and so thats what we did haha. :coffee: it was kind of a good thing tho for the time being cuz i later got wrapped up w some things unable to monitor close.. lots still going on. but! i was just thinking over that we needed to go back up too! greening at night has been a little less etc. (tho been taking advantage rn of more rest with these cycle types.. a break) and so had delayed just a bit more cuz of being preoccupied w the things atm right, but its now looking like maybe not going back up cuz got some nice numbers yesterday for a number of hours AM again and just now, 80s.. 70s.. then 60s… o_O:woot: guess holding. :bookworm::coffee:

(appears like reducing prior to 50s can be done; just takes more time to settle (?) but not sure if will do frm here (want ideally healing strong right.. and greening went down a little..) but glad i know. observing. but perhaps. :coffee:)

Yes. He’s doing okay on this 2.5 dose - especially today. Some cats do take longer than others to settle into a dose. Today was too sharp of a drop at+2.5. Did he have a snack at +2 (that’s a very good snack to give— a teaspoon or two of LC usually). Was there anything else different about today? Breakfast? Same food? Same amount?

yay ‘kay. we holding yup. :cat::bookworm::coffee: and i noticed that too! :stop: it sure was a bit.. he dropped some right?... though from 88 to 77, or you mean PS to 88?.. but nope, nothing different at all far as i can tell.. and we been here before. :cat: 25th similar. and he ate very well for breakfast, we been frontloading +1-2 some time now, +3 if needed, and greens get snacks too. matter of fact he might've gotten a teensy bit less dose but not much.. (sometimes light gives me a hard time.. just going to dose w one of my lamps that gives me good light always.. and i always prepare syringe beforehand.. it was close enough so he got it.. but dont think that it.. only draw more if its way off. but rarely happens. i check many times…. Whomp) same everything. :) even when hes rising ill give snacks.. haha. :D

ooh mightbe been a little late w +1-2 snack, maybeee, but not terrible. like 15 min. thats been done tho before. i like to wait a little bit anyway (+1). since onset is supposed to happen +1.5-2 w Lantus right..

what do you maybe make of it? (things good tho.. numbers nice. :)) im always eyeing numbers. :bookworm::coffee: im noticing days like this happen now time to time w early nadirs, +3-4.
