Good morning,

Last night Butch dived at the +2 60, had me in a little bit of a panic :nailbiting: so early in his cycle. I fed him some 24% and little karo. He came up and we were both able to get some sleep at the +4.

Hoping he surfs calmly in the blue today with some greens would be nice.

AMPS meal FF 3% with tilapia at shoot, snack +2 3% 2 tsp, +3 1 1/2 tsp 6%, +5 1 1/2 tsp 12%, +5.5 1 1/2 20% with karo

I gave Butch 20% and karo +5.5 Contour Next 39/Libre lo. Libre test 20 minutes later 72. +7 196 Libre. Not sure, if it's the 20% & karo or he's just bouncing from the lo.

Dosing advise - does Butch earn a reduction?

I was doing my outdoor preparation for the winter months and came in to do a test. Butch +5 51 :nailbiting: I had fed him a snack 6% at the +3, I just gave him some 12%.
Looks like I'll be taking a break from the outside till Butch is stable.
I don't know if I should maybe do a tiny reduction to 2u, I give 2u fat now.

oh wow... I see you have some action going on. I hope some of the expers come for help soon. All paws and fingers are crossed he comes up into safe numbers soon! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you, Heike. I tested 20 minutes after he ate 20% and little karo. Libre 72, I'll test in another 20 minutes. I really try not to panic but it's so hard not too! Hope I didn't go overboard with the hc & karo. I just stress when I see such low numbers :nailbiting:

Sounds like you are doing great. And so happy you manage to test on the handheld too. I know Butch is not the most patient cat. Glad he came up to safe numbers so far! I hope he remains stable and you relax soon.

I was given Butch a fat 2u (placing the top of the plunger under the 2u line). For the reduction should it be 2u (plunger covering the 2u line) or less?
