Last night was all yellows, and we woke up to yellows. She is down to high blues by +2, which I am happy to see. I can tell that it's getting close to her next Solensia shot - she's definitely a little stiffer yesterday and this morning. She'll get her next shot on Monday. Otherwise, she's still trucking along pretty well. Just being a stable lil' ma'am.

I was watching videos of ceiling cat - he's jumping from the floor to the top of the cabinet that he then uses to jump onto the ceiling tiles. He has to pull himself up, but he makes it look pretty easy, and that's probably a 6' jump? I thought maybe he was using the bookcases to help get down, but bro also just jumps straight down to the floor. He did eat the food out of the trap at about 4 this morning (cameras are great, and now I kinda want one for Kit). I haven't decided if I'm going to set the trap tonight or wait a bit more so he gets used to the trap. The folks who were going to take the cat are going to be out of town starting tomorrow through Saturday, so if I trap him this weekend, I think he'll have to come to my bathroom or guest room. But if he's there, maybe Kit's vet can give him a once over while she's there for Kit on Monday? She doesn't have a way to test for chips, but could at least do a quick look.

Anywho, it's Friday, and thank goodness.

Yes, Kit is moving right along this morning....hope she settles in the blue/dark green zone for you safely. Good luck with ceiling cat- I have several cameras in the house for the cats. I hated them at first, but they do give me peace of mind. I've become kind of a camera junkie...I even put some outside so I can see the critters that wander about at night- I've caught a fox, several bears, the deer, raccoons, etc. Very neat. Sending you lots of prayers and positive vibes for the capture of ceiling cat....:bighug:

She had slowed down when I got home to check on her at +4, so that's good. A camera would be nice to keep an eye on her. And maybe one that I can speak through so I can occasionally spook Eric (hahahahahaha).

No sign of ceiling cat this morning yet, but I am in my office playing music, and maybe he's not a fan?

That's what he wants, coming home with you, I feel it :bighug:
I got a camera this summer, after feeding my house-sitter's cat for a week, she has one and I thought that would be nice. I loved being able to see Bella, but talking to her through it scared her. So I tried not to do it, but I checked on her a lot while we were in canada. Spooking my son when he is hme would be a very fun use iof it, thanks for the idea :joyful:

Nice cycle for Kit cat - glad she's come down nicely.

Camera sounds like a great thing! Well for cats and Eric.
I knew someone whose crazy husband set a camera in the kitchen so he could monitor her (? but she is the only living organism there) while he was away. That's kinda weird. They are still married. That's even more  (none of my business, just IMHO).
Anyhow, I hope the little guy in the ceiling gets more comfortable with the trap and thus would be less traumatic when he gets trapped? Would be nice if the vet could have a look at him but would Kit cat be okay if he came home with you?
Hope all goes well!

He might need to for a bit, at least to one of the extra rooms. Unfortunately, Kit's not really into other cats. Although maybe she'll love having him around? She just has to be a priority at this stage.

MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAH! My work here is done! :joyful::joyful::joyful:

Oof, that is creepy. I joke that there's cameras around to watch Eric, but it's just a joke - all I would see is him playing video games anyway. :joyful:

There in lies the kicker - I don't know how she'd do if he was there, even temporarily. She tolerated my parents dog when it would come, but when I was kitty sitting over a summer, we only lasted a couple of weeks (although that was because the girl didn't tell me her cat was unspayed). So we'll see how things go. We don't even know if he's feral, or willing to be domesticated.
