A good run of numbers for Kit again yesterday. A little higher start this morning, but since it's a morning I teach, I'm okay with a slightly higher number and a slower coming down.

I won't be in the building that has ceiling cat until maybe 10 this morning (+4), but I think I wanna try to take my 10:00 meeting in that office since I have more food for the kitty. We definitely think a live trap is the way to go, at the current moment (unless replacing the ceiling tiles made it impossible for him to get back to the ceiling/vent). He's certainly being tricksy.

What a challenge!
The ceiling kitty ought to be getting somewhat used to the situation that can make him feel safe enough to come down?
Boy, what a difficult situation. But he's lucky that you are getting him essentials. He can probably survive for a while that way.
Could he possible go out from other path or does it have to come down to your office?

I'm hoping. He ended not coming down last night at all - he didn't eat any food. Security did hear him at about 430 yesterday afternoon. I also forgot about housekeeping coming into my office this morning, so I emailed the head of their department to be like, you can just ignore my office if that's easier.
I'm honestly wondering if he has another route out? I heard him this morning, but then not a peep the rest of the day. But it's sometimes a bit of a noisy building, so.... Like, there's however he got into the building. And then in theory it's just into my office if he's not in the ceiling. But we don't know if there's an opening elsewhere. I'm hoping he eats tonight - not eating last night is a bit worrying.

Kit cat has been doing this thing the last few nights - I tend to shower in the evening because I don't always have time when I get home before Kit's stuff. And she's started laying at the start of the hallway meowing at me until I'm done and come back to the living room. Not sure why she won't come all the way, but apparently I'm not allowed to be in the back half of the apartment.

Ceiling cat ate food, and peed in the litterbox tonight. So I was told by my stage manager.
