She is still seeing too many blues for an OTJ trial. Not sure how much of it is the Libre. See what the others say, but I would try a drop dose next. If she isn't already getting one, you want to give her a snack at +9 in both cycles to see if that brings down her preshots.

She's looking great! :D:D:D

This is her 16th cycle on her drop dose (0.1 IU), does it not mean a reduction to 0? Or should I wait for what pattern exactly?

For the last week, she's been getting snacks at +9/10 from her AM shot and at +4-6 from her PM shot. But I can definitely be more consistent with this snack time, for PM shot Im not sure Ill be able to give her a snack past +5/6 on a daily basis.

Yes, it does mean a reduction. For cats who are all green on 0.10U, we suggest an OTJ trial, but for cats with some blues at 0.10U, we suggest trying a drop dose first.

To start an OTJ trial, you want her to be almost entirely in normal numbers with only the rare blue (below 120). She is almost there.
Reminder: *earning* reductions and starting OTJ trials

Im sorry, Im confused! She's been at the drop dose for 8 days now. When she was at 0.25 and then earned her reduction to drop dose, i was told that meant= 0.1?

So Im not sure what I should be shooting her from tomorrow onwards?

To get a drop dose, you push hard on the plunger of the syringe, then insert into the pen/vial/cartridge. Let go of the plunger, and the vacuum pressure will suck up a drop.

I know you've probably been asked, but do you have back up hand held BG meter you can use to test the lows of the Libre?

A bit more explanation on the smaller dose. It can be helpful to draw what you've been doing as a 0.1 unit dose (which is not a drop), and measure how many drops are actually in it. To do that, first take a used syringe and fill it with coloured liquid like tea, juice, coffee. Practice twisting the plunger so that you can get even sized drops. Now fill the syringe with what has been your 0.1 unit dose, and count the number of drops in that dose. You want to see if you can get a lower dose with fewer drops.

Ohhhhhh all this time I thought 0.1 = drop dose :banghead:

Im currently practising with soy sauce and I see what you mean, Im reducing to drop dose as of tomorrow morning. Thank youuu both!!
