Good morning,

Butch stood flat in the 300s last night, making me completely stressed! Not sure what's going on, I have a vet appointment today. I hope to collect his urine to bring. Butch started his increase and today's AMPS is his 10 cycle. His bg has been in the high numbers with not much of a drop since Wednesday. I have three people who do the shoots, Thursday's AM & PM and this morning AM cycle was the same person. I noticed this morning that they pinch the skin instead of pulling it up. I don't know if this can make a difference. Tonight, I have another person doing his shoot and I know this person pulls the skin up to a tent to shoot.

I was finally able to do a test on a human handheld meter (Contour Next) just now at +5 268 meter and 305 Libre. I also was able to collect Butch's urine to bring to his vet visit today.

Should I ask for a specific test or culture to be done?

Hi Staci. Thank you for the well wishes. I decided to start the increase over the weekend because I am not sure how much testing I'll be able to do.
The vet visit went well. Butch had blood work done and a urine culture sent out. No ketones on the strip. We should have some results tomorrow.
