I am going on vacation Aug. 22 for 9 cycles. I have a roommate who can give the shots but will not be able to test.

Could you please let me know how to handle vacation dosing?

Also where do you buy the calipers?

Ask about a vacation dose about 4 days before you go. Do you use a timed feeder? Will anyone be feeding in between shots or just coming to give insulin?

it will not be timed feeding. Our roommate is taking care of Mac for us. For Friday and Monday he will give the shot feed him and leave food for him while he goes to work and then return around 5:30 and then feed him throughout the evening if needed. Saturday and Sunday he will be able to feed him a little more during the day.
