Nice job!glad to hear it!!In regards to last night, he looks good! That’s a whole lot of time in blue.In fact, in the last 5 days (since you increased) he’s only spent two cycles in yellow, all the rest are blue and green!
Nice job!

i was thinking so too.. looking pretty good. thinking to hold the dose a few more days.. lets see. last night was tough for us tho..
he was restless like when it gets really high (for him).. and i checked him and it wasnt as it was.. idk. maybe getting used to lower numbers. or just bored.. maybe restless, nervous, scared. a lot about our routine has changed for the time being. (hes used to being able to go out number 1..
got some cuddles tho in the AM.. yay. haha.. to think of it, thats when most awake as well… dawn.. dusk.. hm.

.
also, could possibly remind me again if know.. +2 tells if cycle active, but what are the measures? know if lower than PS than cycle active.. and is it if same OR higher thats when wont be too much going on?.. that right?![]()
thank u!!!!!Yeah, so as an example, look at PM 8/1 and AM 8/4 compared to AM 8/1 and PM 8/4. The first two cycles mentioned, he was higher at +2 and +3. One of those cycles he continued going up, the other he just hung out pretty flat with his PS. On the other two cycles the +2/+3 were a good sized drop, and both were active cycles - one green, one low blues. Both were very safe cycles, just active. In all four cases, that +2/+3 told you what type of cycle he was having (active or not active). Editing to add that last night (8/5) is an example of his +2/+3 being the same as PS and him staying flat (and not active).
hm! yes just my brain.. knew if it was the same, but couldnt remember if a higher number that is usually slow too..
ugh.
How often to test? Every hour? (didnt know.. so gave snack 30 min after 98 test..)I would give a snack after the 98 and test again in an hour to see if the BG is still dropping. Continue to test until Pudge has reached nadir

ok!How frequently you test can change depending on how low he is, but currently, after an hour would be soon enough.

.. right, this!.. yes. Well just did +5.5; 101/98.. hour to hour still ok here sounds like? (he did eat tho (hour ago..))word!He looks good! Just hanging out in the upper 90s tonight!![]()

want to test that out too.. if would hang in 90s etc ideally or if would fall more.. need food..
i missed +6.. doing my best tho. ugh.i missed getting the +6.5….He looks good! Just hanging out in the upper 90s tonight!![]()

okHey! Sorry, I fell asleep last night. I can respond more on your current thread when you post one (sorry for bumping this one), but wanted to make sure you got a response to this. You’d gotten three tests in a row of the same (or basically the same) number, so he was flat and not dropping further. Pudge does that pretty regularly- comes down a bit and then hangs out around one number for a few hours. It’s the lowest he goes, so it’s still his nadir, it can just be a little harder to notice it because you don’t see numbers drop to a low number and then start coming back up quickly. Last night he hung out in the high 90s, a few days ago it was just over 100, sometimes it’s been 130ish. That’s why testing an hour later is helpful- just like getting a +2/+3, it tells you what his cycle is doing. You may have needed to stay up longer if he was continuing to drop, but after 90min of the same number (and that number being nice and high), IMO it would have been safe to get some sleep.
