And yes, I think you’re right. The Earth must spin faster on weekends. I swear it was just Friday:rolleyes:

Yesterday was sort of a lost day. It was very cloudy and not really nice. So I ended up not even going outside which was my preference.

I ended up doing things in the house. I cooked a brisket and everything that goes with it for dinner for tonight, so at least that’s done.

It would’ve been nice to spend time outdoors. Today it’s back to work, so of course indoors;)
How are things in your office, did they get the AC repaired?

The weekend, and the summer! I cannot believe we're already in August. Summers seemed to last so much longer when my kids were little, I wanted this one to last for longer and it's gone way too fast!

Yup, at last, they fixed the AC and it's FREEZING :eek::spam: now. There are times I have to go outside to warm up!
It's crazy - I don't understand why they waste energy like this :mad: So I'm back with extra layers!

Brisket sounds yummy! We need a good chunk of meat for our competitive Olympics watching :p

Hope Ivy steadies herself and gradually gets down to the beach today! :bighug:

Ivy is a mystery, isn't she, Heike?
I am working today, so cooking yesterday saved me some stress today, which is great!
Ivy is spending the day in "the penthouse" as we call it (it's just my bedroom, which is upstairs, as opposed to "her room" on the lower level. We have to keep ourselves amused around here:rolleyes:

I hope Binie is having a calm\m cycle so you can recharge after last night :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Yes, she really has unusual curves! This sudden yellow number today in the midst of blues at +6, when many other cats have their nadir for example.

I think Ivy would say, that you got something wrong about the rooms in the house. Of course she owns everything and you are just allowed to sleep in her penthouse :). It's so funny, how they have their routines and their own schedule.

I hope you can also relax and enjoy your evening after the workday. And sleep well later, Staci! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I love summers. I feel that here we're already shifting towards autumn. We've had an extremely hot week followed by crazy rain and now it's rather chilly in the morning and picking up to a nice curve of heat during the days.

Hi Shelly? I did gear up for some action and then she never really got too low that I needed to get too concerned. I keep waiting for the other shoot to drop because I know it’s coming.
I just wish you would do it in the daytime and not wait until the night. I guess she likes to keep me all to herself overnight or something like that, She wants my undivided attention, I suppose.

I was indoors working all day. It was very hot here today. So just as well I guess.
I hope your job is going well and you’re still enjoying that kids.

Sleep well tonight. Paws crossed that Fustuk turns things around and feels so much better by morning. I will look forward to your report with hopeful news :bighug::bighug::bighug:

She keeps me guessing Heike. You know that!
And yes it is funny where she decided to spend her days.

She gets a very annoyed with me when I pick her up in the late morning and I’ll carry her upstairs.
She’d like me to leave her in her bed all cozy in the basement, but I force her to come upstairs. At that point, she decides where she would like to get herself cozy for the day.
Many times she does choose my bedroom. Sometimes she likes to go in DH’s office on his sofa and cozy up there. I guess it depends on her mood:rolleyes:

I still love working with the kids. As of mid august I'll have another half a day on Wednesdsy. I figured that I need more income and it makes sense at the moment to have it come from an expected source since my private practice can fluctuate a lot and I need to create as much stability as possible, given there are so many factors that can create instability. Such as what we've experienced in the past few days.....
