She broke her bounce last night - she stopped in the high 70s, but I did also give her a tsp of food at +5. Now to see where she goes from here.

We changed our schedule slightly and nixed the movie so my friend could take care of an errand. I'm probably also postponing lunch because I'm real tired, and my allergies are being a pain in the tuchus this morning.

Hope everyone has a good Wednesday.

Wow, some bounce she had, glad to see Ms Kit back in the blue. I'm sorry you aren't feeling well, this weather is absolutely awful (hot and soooo humid) for my sinuses. Sending hugs, love, and positive 'nap time' wishes! :bighug:

Hope you’re feeling better Alicia. And come on down, Kit. Glad she broke that bounce. Just wish they wouldn’t react to the drops so drastically. Guess it’s just a protective mechanism in their bodies. :bighug::bighug:

Still a little sniffly. Today's human appointment was an eye appointment, and because I have terrible eyesight (for reals, my contact prescription is -10.5) - I have to alternate between photos of my eyes and dilation to make sure my retina and eye are in good shape. This year was a dilation year. Let me tell you, it is so much harder to focus on the ear you're trying to poke and get blood from when the room is SO BRIGHT and you can get as close as usual or it gets fuzzier. Thank goodness Eric was home to close the blinds so it was at least darker in the apartment. I empathize with cats who are in darker rooms and suddenly have lights turned on on these days, except they're lucky enough that their eyes will react and not be so wide open. :joyful:

Ugh, that sounds awful trying to poke in those conditions. After dilation is the worst. I can never see anything either.
I’ve had 2 pvd’s and it was a real scare about the retina. So I have empathy about eye issues. (My vision is awful, too).

Never a dull moment. I hope you recover quickly. :bighug:

On the plus side, it means I get to send Eric out for dinner for us!

They're mostly back to normal. Stuff is still a little bright, but not bad. For sure not going out with sunglasses still (and by that I mean I'll just be staying home lol).
Now if little miss bouncy butt would calm her self down.
