Good evening,

today Binie had an almost flat pink day after a night with some . I would love to see blue numbers below 150 more often but we'll see what the next days bring. At least her libre says that her average bg has decreased.

The collocial silver arrived yesterday and I try to put something on her breast with a cotton pad twice per day. It always costs me a treat but it works. Directly after it she licks it clean again but hopefully something stays on. Today I felt she is licking the skin a little less but maybe it is too early to say something. Curious what the vet says on thursday.

Besides that she is really doing well most of the time. I recognize my sweet girl again. I really hope the hard times are over for a while. She deserves to feel well and be happy. And she adapted well to her limited freedom. As long as she can go on the terrasse she seems happy. Maybe she knows it was time to retire.

I'm happy to hear that it looks like the colloidal silver is helping. I always have very fast results with it. It's not at a ll a problem she's licking it. It's working just the same. Colloidal silver can be taken orally as well. I give it to Fistuk as well but his digestion is very sensitive and a touch too much gives him diarrhoea so I'm carful with oral application.

I hope you see some blues soon and enough. We all know it's a patience game.

Loved your "before" picture of Binie yesterday. That's the same brand of scale that I have too.

If I was you, I'd be muttering "dose increase" into Binie's ear. Sometimes the threat is enough. Most of her nadirs are above 150. You've been on this dose long enough.

Let us know what the vet says about the wound. I keep hoping she’ll turn the corner and it will start healing faster and faster. I’m glad she likes to spend time on the terrace and enjoy the weather. Hope you both have a calm night ahead

Hi Shelly, thank you so much for mentioning the collodial silver! I am curious what the vet will say tomorrow. Good to know, that too much could make diarrhea! Hope Fistuk is well and you enjoy being together again!

Thank you so much Deb! Yes, I am also happy she enjoys the terrasse. She was always such an outdoor cat and when I fenced the terrasse I was worried she would hate being restricted. But she is doing well there. I planted some catnip for her and she loves watching the birds I am feeding there. We even got a little mouse now who loves to steal peanuts from the birdfeeder. So there is lots of entertainment. I saw you had a sleepless and exhausting night. Hope you have the chance to rest today and your day is more calm.

Hi Wendy, you answered the question I had in my mind before I could even ask! Thank you so much! I would really love to see more blues below 150. On the other hand I see that her overall bg is the first time below 300 and she is not bouncing that much anymore. I will definitely mutter "dose increase" in her ear and see, what happens the next two, three cycles.

Glad you liked Binies picture on the scale. I felt a bit guilty after posting it. I definitely don't want to see a picture of myself on a scale in the internet. But cats look always cute, isn't it?

Hi Staci! Thank you so much for your kind support! I am a little nervous heading to vet tomorrow as I don't know what she says about Binies wounds. Hope the collodial silver already made a difference. And tomorrow we also have to do the bloodwork and last time it was difficult to get blood. I really hope my girl is in the mood tomorrow...
