@Wendy&Neko Haha, I was thinking the same thing! This morning I told myself, he must be taking it easy on me during his PM cycles this week because he knows his mom needs to be well rested and not stressed out for when she starts her new job next week.
I'll be working 3 days a week on an AM/PM Rotation schedule.
Majority of my weeks will be spent on Day Shift which is considered 7am till 730pm. The PM rotation is actually an AM/PM split shift of 11am till 1130pm. However, the PM rotation hours are only as needed.
Me working only 3 days a week will probably change over time, thanks to the never ending nursing shortage. However, right now, I do want to take my time getting used to trusting the process of leaving him alone while at work.
The Plan Is:
On days I work, I'll be leaving for work at 630 am and return home at 8pm .
My boyfriend leaves for work Monday thru Friday at 630am and returns home at 4 pm.
The plan is to check, feed, and shoot Mazi at 530am and get a +1 on him at 6:25 am on the way out.
My dad will be spending mornings and afternoons at the house the 1st couple weeks to feed our 2 kitties and puppy at +3/+3.5 aka 830 am/9 am. Unfortunately, my dad can't check Mazi's BG. I will be ordering 2 of the catmate automatic feeders ASAP and get both kitties acclimated to their new feeder by the time my dad can no longer visit.
When my boyfriend gets home he will get a +10.5 and a PMPS.
Summary:
5:20/5:30 AM: AMPS Check & Breakfast & Shoot
6:25 AM: +1 BG Check
8:30/9:00 AM: +3/3.5 Lunch
4:00 PM: +10.5 BG Check
5:30 PM: PMPS Check & Dinner & Shoot
6:30 PM: +1 BG Check
7:30 PM +2 BG Check
8:30/9:00 PM: +3/3.5 Check & Late Lunch
Breakfast: 1/2 Can of 5.5 oz Friskies Pate
Lunch: 1/4 Can of 5.5oz Friskies Pate
Dinner: 1/2 Can of 5.5 oz Friskies Pate
Late Lunch: 1/4 Can of 5.5 oz Friskies Pate
I'll be watching for any big drops at +1, if so I'll leave out some MC/HC food.
What are your thoughts the plan? Any suggestions?
Do you think Mazi's feeding schedule and amount given is safe/enough? This is the same food schedule he has been on since early April.
Thanks for your feedback Wendy!
