Good morning Kit and Mikan, glad you guys had a good Fourth of July yesterday and survived without too much noise. Same with us, it was pretty mellow so that was good.
Looks like both of our girls had high days yesterday. Mikan with a bounce and Ivy with a PFS :(

Hoping today is better for both of them:smuggrin:

Good morning Staci!

Our July 4 was quiet - people obliged with the "No fireworks" warning in the neighborhood. We could hear the fireworks from afar (and we could see, tiny teeny fireworks from our windows :p) but it didn't bother any of the kitties. :cat: I always worry about animals in the zoo and birds in the aviary. I know good people are taking care of them, but it can be scary for them. It feels so selfish to have fireworks for.... celebrating something that happened centuries ago o_O

Nice and quiet this morning! And my new washer is coming today! Yeah! Hope the delivery won't be happening when I need to test, feed, shoot insulin for Mikan :nailbiting: Fortunately, DH will be home so he can deal with the delivery and Mikan and I will hide in the bathroom if need be.

And new washer?! Oooo, you fancy! :smuggrin:
I want a new dishwasher, but even though I'm willing to pay for it so it's not the cheapest most bargain brand piece of nonsense, I don't think the apartment complex will let me. Bunch of poop heads. :p

Yup, the old washer refuses to spin now :rolleyes: Nonspinning washer is basically a heavy water tank, right? :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
Feeling elated to get a new washer reflects my current super-exciting lifestyle :p But hey, it's nice to be able to appreciate small feats!
Mikan seems to be clearing the bounce. Hope she keeps going!

It's such an adult thing to be excited about washers. I get excited about cookware and things that help me clean better (I got this battery powered spinny scrubber thing that makes cleaning the shower SO MUCH EASIER).

I just bought a scrubber thing too that is coming next week. I'm hoping that will make my life easier. Love simplifying household chores! More time for me to wait on cats :p

Mikan had a great cycle but she seems her way up now. Hopefully not too high :nailbiting:
