Good morning :)

No floor pee last night and this morning. Paws crossed it was a passing thing.

The vet said that according to the pee stick picture, I sent her she doesn't see bladder problems but that there was lot of sugar in the blood so it's probably more diabetics related.

He's eating and drinking well. I managed to get a +7.5 PM test which was 72. He ate quire ravenously so I wondered if he was heading downward.

I still question whether it would be better to increase and give him 2.5U ? I don't like these blues settling in +3...

For the next five days, DH and I are here and can monitor. Monday late morning we'll be leaving for a week holiday and the couple who stay over will monitor.

I wondered if he had gotten lower around +6 which is normally when he goes low. I can try and get a +6 tonight

After he's eaten at +7.5 I didn't think it was worth testing later because he doesn't drop normally after food.

I agree. Levemir more often than not has a nadir from +7 - +9. It sucks to set my alarm and get up in the middle of the night to test but it's not the end of the world. ;) Thankfully I usually fall right back asleep. I guess for those who are sleep challenged it might be a different story.

I'm happy that you're able to get up at night and test and feel good with it. I've been doing it for a long time. Now I'm working full time and I can't function properly and stay safe at work if my sleep is constantly interrupted.
