Still truckin' along. Her numbers for the next 1.5 hours will determine if I am able to go to Chicago today or not. If she can be managed with food and I'm not worried about her dropping, Eric will be home to give her food. If she's dropping more than I'm comfortable, I'll just postpone.

It was a good time! My friend and her two year old and I drove up to have lunch with another friend. And Scarlet (the 2 year old) loves her Aunt Alicia. She kept calling me from the backseat (on her book that she used as a phone), to ask me what I was doing today, and to tell me she was riding in my car. She's the best, and it gives me a chance to take care of the miniscule amount of mothering I need to use up (mothering of small humans that is).

We over-carbed it a bit this morning, but I wanted to be on the safe side, and she's come down already from her +10. We'll see how she does the rest of the night.

So glad Kit did well with Eric and all was well at home ❤️

That's really nice. Reminds me of my niece when she was about 2 - same thing. Just kept calling out (loud!) Antie Kit! Whatyadoing! Talk to Ponya (her inseparable elephant plush animal)! Do this and do that! Adorable. Hard to believe that she just graduated from college :rolleyes: Time flies...

I love it so much - I don't get to see my youngest nephew except at Christmas (when I'm able to go), but we at least video chat and he knows who I am. My other two nephews are in California and it's not easy to get out to see them at all (and they don't come to my folks for Christmas, so I haven't seen them since maybe 2018?).

I was honestly a little surprised (but happily surprised) to see her PMPS. At +10 she was at 161. But she's recovered nicely! And maybe a slightly higher start will mean not going as low, and I can get to bed before 2 am. :rolleyes:

I love Scarlet so much. She's just such a delight. She'll ask all these questions, and when you're finally all done answering, she'll just say, in the cutest voice, ooohhh. Like she's really putting some thought into it. So cute.

Chicago's traffic is pretty bad. But I like the city. Always enjoy coming down there.
I'm back home meow for a bit. Unless I decide to pick up another shift.
