So cautiously optimistic (anti jinx anti jinx anti jinx) at how well her numbers have been on this dose.

I was a bit mad that I didn't get any tests in after +5 on Sunday night's cycle, so I wanted to get at least one test after +6 last night. Managed to wake up at my 1 am alarm and got a +7. Then nature's alarm (aka Kit puking) woke me up just after 330, so I got a test then since I was already up cleaning things up. It might be nap day. If she keeps staying pretty steady this morning, maybe even this morning? I want to get a +3 in, and that will help me decide.

I hope everyone is having a good Wednesday (it is Wednesday, right?)

Good meowning Alicia and Kit!
Sorry to hear she threw up in the middle of the night.
Isn't it ameowzing how we always wake up to that??? Our meowternal instinct kicks in.

She looks great so far today.
Wishing you both a wonderful day.

That sound of throwing up is more likely to wake me up than an actual alarm - I think it's because I was asleep on the couch once, and she was on the arm of the couch, and almost threw up on my head. Now it just sort of is a think my brain instantly recognizes, asleep or not. :joyful:

Gorgeous cycle, Alicia!
I know what you mean about the retching sound. Why so loud and dramatic, I wonder. If they did that in nature, everyone in the jungle (or wherever they tend to be) would know exactly where they were!
But yikes. Vomit on the head isn't exactly, 'Good morning honeybunch' kinda wake up call :smuggrin:

Yep, it is. You must be getting used to the summer break time zone!:p

Hi Alicia , Kit cat sure is doing great on this dose :D:D
That puking sound is awful. I know when Tyler is ready to puke because he start to make a weird meow sound. It's so awful to watch and see how his body moves to get it up.
So when I hear him I get up asap if he's on the carpet and throw him into the kitchen . Our poor babies .
I hope Kit cat continues to surf safely today :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:

She's been pretty good at puking on her brown paper/towel combo, which is nice. She's mostly been puking at night, so I think she needs a snack or two of freeze dried treats overnight to keep her tummy settled. If I'm awake I can tell by how she licks her lips that she's feeling a bit nauseous. She does sometimes make a pre-hoark sound if it's a hairball. But if it's just bile it's just away she goes.

They're so good at being sneaky. You know, like when they hide behind a sheer curtain. Or when their head is hidden somewhere, but none of the rest of their body, so of course they're hidden and no one can see them. They can't see you!
They've trained us so well so they don't have to be outside (and if I could take all the outside ones in so I could be their faithful servant, I would in a heartbeat, doncha know!)

Beautiful cycle today, Alicia. :D

Sorry you had to wake up to nature’s puking sound from Kit Kat. That’s never fun.
I had that the other morning at 4 AM when I was sleeping on the sofa, that was a joy. Lucky us to get to hear those sounds. Poor babies, it must stink to have to get all that stuff up and out;)

Hope she continues to surf well on this.
Have a safe night and I hope you can get some rest.:bighug::cat::bighug:

On the one hand, what a way to wake up. On the other hand, if I hear, and clean it up right away, then maybe I won't find it with my feet? Silver linings, right? :joyful:

Also - I totally went back to sleep after her +3 this morning, and slept another hour and 45 minutes. It was glorious. So I'm sending nap vibes your way (whenever you can squeeze one in!)

She's a little slower to come down tonight. I was feeding 7% at +1 to finish off the can, but if numbers are below 150 tomorrow, I think I'll switch back to what I was originally doing and use a 5 or 6% at +1 if she's under 150. See where that leads.
