We had food war this morning. Inappentence. What to do. Will eat Churu and I mix with smoothie when I had to intervene. At least no gagging or tongue twirling. Just not eating. I can see he's interested in food and he comes to eat but then changes his mind. I feel I have tried every single variation of cat foods known on the planet.

Just gave him some Entero-Aid

Or whatever it is, TBD. Is he still getting ondansetron regularly? Interested in food but then turning away is classic nausea. Poor Eddie.

What proteins are you feeding him now? Just wondering if you could try something novel to see if that helps - if it is IBD. Also, is he on any probiotics? The Entero Aid doesn't have much of them. Compare the list of ingredients to Visbiome which is a probiotic specially for IBD.

As of today, I've increased Ondansetron to every six hours.

What proteins are you feeding him now? Just wondering if you could try something novel to see if that helps - if it is IBD. Also, is he on any probiotics? The Entero Aid doesn't have much of them. Compare the list of ingredients to Visbiome which is a probiotic specially for IBD.

I'm starting him on Pet Wellbeing Pro and Pre-biotic, 9 strains. I will, however, order the Visbiome, stat. Thank you.

Not sure if you can get the Visbiome Vet in Canada or if Visbiome.com will ship to Canada. You can get just the people packets from Visbiome.ca. That's what I get for my IBD girl.

I think most people in the US just buy the capsules. Of the regular version, not the constipation care one.

The Pet Wellbeing Pro looks much better that the Entero Aid. I've also given people probiotics in the past. With all probiotics, start at a lower dose and work your way up.

P.s. about the proteins: I have tried chicken, turkey, salmon, lamb, quail, rabbit, beef, none of them work not because of the protein, I think, but because he just does not want to eat textured food. I make a smoothie and when he into it, that works; otherwise, it's syringeable.
