@Bandit's Mom I was thinking - since I can't tell if she's bouncing because I'm unable to test during the night, would it be too bad if I skipped her shots for 2-3 days to see what she does? It would be also good to know in case my parents have a hard time shooting and have a couple of FS in a row. What do you think?

When do you leave for your vacation? I was thinking you parents could not giver insulin for those 2 weeks and see how she does.

I leave on 6/20. They won't be able to test though. Do you think going 2 weeks without testing and insulin is ok? She has no history of ketones as far as I know.

When caregivers travel, we suggest a lower vacation dose for safety. However, she is already on a drop dose, which is the smallest dose and she is dropping to the 50s on it. Add to that your parents can't test. The 2 weeks can be like a OTJ trial.

Sounds like that will be perfect timing! That will give her a week and a half on a DD to stabilize even more before your parent's OTJ trial.
