@Bandit's Mom Hi I’m so confused and worried .Why Is Bailie all of a sudden having high spikes I don’t know what’s going on ? He’s 439 :arghh::arghh::arghh: I don’t know what to think :(:(:(:(
 
Is there anything else going on with him that could affect his blood sugar? Any kind of infection/inflammation/pain can cause BG to rise. Even something like constipation!

Please feed him at +2? He usually dives when he starts so high and that triggers another bounce.

The only thing I can think of is maybe arthritis pain there’s nothing else indicating anything else. He’s not constipated or anything. But we’ve been having such miserable weather. It’s been raining for a month straight and very foggy. Plus my husband left on the third. He’s gone back to the Middle East to work. I’m so worried.Acro isn’t on your mind is it ?I added another 2 supplements Adorened Beast jump for joints and Powered MSM.
 
No. I don't think I would worry about acromegaly. Do the 2 supplements have any sugar in them?

I found that supplements didn't help Budge (my civvie). Nor did Cartrophen for that matter! Is Baillie still getting Cartrophen shots?

Yes he is but it’s not helping either I don’t think . The other supplements don’t have sugar in them . I’m wondering if maybe too much churu could cause I spike .i have to give him the churu because that’s how he gets his supplements. But I also give him a lick after each test . Do you think that these sporadic, high numbers are going to affect his neuropathy?I am feeling so defeated ,I feel like he will never get regulated it’s been almost 7 months
 
I don't think Churu treats could be a problem. And I wouldn't worry about the neuropathy yet. Let's see what he does today and whether we need to take him up in dose. Maybe the weather is making his arthritis flare up and pain is causing his numbers to spike.

Yes I was thinking the same the same thing both my cats are getting really fed up with this crazy weather not to mention me .Im about to lose my mind it’s crazy , ya so the weather could be making Bailies arthritis act up couldn’t it. Also I have a dentist appointment I have to make in 2 hours . It took Bailie almost an hour to eat this morning he was starving . So I test at +2 and feed a few YAZ ? Will you be around in 45 mins when I test him again so you can advise me ?

I’m home from the dentist and just tested and he’s gone up from 345@+3 to 367@+5 I’m worried sick .Should I be ?
