Can you sniff the shot area for Lantus smell?

She's pretty much the same as always. She's eating and drinking fine. She peed and pooped at her relatively normal time. Still yelling at me periodically because maybe I forgot that she's napping in the same place she's been napping for the last couple of months.

I sniffed, but didn't smell anything, other than her normal kitten smell. It's 7.5 hours later though, and she did give herself a bath, and I have a notoriously bad sniffer. At least she's staying in the pinks so far. (Knock on all the wood). It was definitely a moment of panic. :blackeye:

We need to give our old cats the chance to have a bad cycle. Sounds like she's acting normally for her. Hopefully her numbers will get better tonight. In the mean time - do something for Alicia while you have the opportunity to do so.

That's really rough, Alicia. Kit cat did have a lime two days ago—could it be a bounce from it?

We need to give our old cats the chance to have a bad cycle.
I like this. I'll remember this - of course, Mikan's good at giving me bad cycles quite often
But this gives me a sense of psychological flexibility?

What goes up must come down. She'll come down soon. Hang in there, Alicia. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you. :bighug:
Weirdly, she's down to 276 at PMPS, which I wasn't expecting. I like it, just unexpected.
We ended up taking the time to go to Costco. So adult of us. :joyful:

I sort of presumed the start at least was a bounce from the big drop yesterday and going lower throughout the cycle than I anticipated.
And she is getting up there in age. She is 206 months old (that's 17 years and two months :joyful: - I'm slightly less stressed out tonight than I was earlier, if you can't tell).
She of course just napped and requested snacks, as per usual. She did look at me weird when I went in for a prolonged sniff.

Oh you poor thing, Alicia! You really had a day of worry. I’m glad to see Kit cat has come down for the pm cycle.
Glad you did some “adult” stuff to distract yourself.
As @Mikanmama Kit said, maybe it was those greens she was reacting to?
Wishing you all a calm and “normal “ cycle ahead:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks, Staci. :bighug:
I panicked a bit because she's not had a cycle like this since she came out of remission/first had diabetes. She seems to be slowly coming down.
