@Wendy&Neko

Mazis AMPS BG this morning was 94. This makes me think that the AMPS on 5/25 was a bounce from the PM cycle on 5/24 and was not an elevated number from Mazi getting into doggy food over night.

The morning of 5/25, I caught him trying to eat the dogs food and then 15 mins later when I took his BG and got the 256 value, I had assumed it was from him getting into dog food that night. Also I didn't think it was a bounce because on 5/24 PM +3 he was
116 and at +4 he was 121 and appeared to be trending up.

Is it possible that it was a bounce and he cleared his bounce last night? This AM would of been the 5th cycle.

Thoughts?

The night of the 24th didn't look like a night he was going low. Anytime he's gone low he's been green by +3.

@Wendy&Neko

Do you think his body is adapting to the new dose? Or is this one value not enough data to tell? It's probably not enough data to make a judgement. I'm guessing we just stick with the drop dose for a few more cycles and see what happens.

I did recheck the number twice this morning. And the 94 was accurate.

I'm not sure what is going on with Mazis BG numbers today. I'm shocked he is higher than his preshot number at +3, I know this morning was not a fur shot. I took the time to part his hair till I saw skin and injected him and held it for 20 secondsbefore I pulled out. I also changed the batteries in his meter.

At first, this morning I thought that his body was just finally adjusting/adapting to his drop dose. But, I think that was just wishful thinking.

Now at the 14th cycle of the drop dose and majority of his nadirs being in the 110's.

I can only assume its time for a small increase. I dont think this drop dose likes us and am feeling defeated.

Edit: So I needed a break from testing with 2 meters, figuring out the Libre wore me out, however, I did learn alot from the graphs. Im definitely a visual learner, and learn more from pictures than numbers..

Anyways, the frustration this morning of trying to figure out Mazi's wonky BG values this AM gave me some motivation. That said, I started monitoring with the Relion meter and the Alphatrak.

Shockingly, I'm back to thinking he is clearing from a bounce that happened, as it looks like he is going to have a late Nadir this cycle.

I think his body bounced from a 90s value that probably happened yesterday AM or PM, because his body hasn't seen a low 90s or high 80s in over a week. Or he had a steep drop from the AM cycle and his liver didn't like it.

I'm still thinking he needs a small increase, because he hasn't seen low 90s very much or 80s. Majority of his nadirs have been in the 100s.

Again, thoughts? @Wendy&Neko

Yayyy, Thank you Wendy!!! I've been itching for an increase. Haha!

I'll bump him to 0.1U and will start the increase tomorrow morning when I can collect more data to be on the safe side.

Have a wonderful Day! @Wendy&Neko

@Wendy&Neko I just wanted to make you aware that I create a 2nd spreadsheet that only has the relion data documented.

I'd like to keep my SS's clean and less chaotic, so I now have one spreadsheet with the Alphatrack data and the 2nd one with the Relion data. I found when I was documenting both the Alphatrack and Libre data it became overwhelming for me and plus with the different ranges I figured separating the two might be best for both me and anyone who needs to see Mazis data..

I also realize when I am tagging members with questions im going to have to be specific on which SS tab to look at.

I hope this is ok.

It's better if you just toss the Alphatrak in the cupboard, draw a line in the spreadsheet and just use the Relion going foward. All on one spreadsheet.

Hi Tre , I think you should have kept everything on one SS like Wendy said above, might be too confusing for members .
All you needed to do was put a blank line above the date you switched to the relion and just type Switched to Relion PM cycle and highlight it any color . That's how all members do it when they switch to a different meter.
You need to also to change your signature . After you have Alpha Trak
Put/ relion as of 5-28

Tap on Tyler's spreadsheet and tap on the 2020 tab up top, do you see how I put a line above the day I switched to Lantus and highlighted it

I have the second one for me. Its an ADHD thing, the original one bugs me because I have the Alphatrak, Libre, and now the Relion numbers all on there. My brain looks at it and just sees a mess. But I realize the original one is still good to refer back to when I want to see how he did on previous doses.

I try to stick to one member for advice (Wendy), but if I ever have to reach out to someone else, ill be sure to be specific at what tab to look at. I labeled them, so trying not to make it confusing.

Updating my signature now.

OK got it but I don't think members will see where you wrote in the remarks section of your SS that you switched to the Relion. They don't always look at the remarks section

I would do that on your SS and put switch to the Relion and highlight it.
