Seeing some good action this morning, which is nice to see. I didn't sleep through her +1.5 feeding this morning (which is good), but having Monday off for Memorial Day meant I didn't have a +3 alarm set in case I fell back asleep, but still managed to wake up within 10 minutes of needing to get a +3/give her morning gaba.

I talked to my mom last night - I had thought she had said dad was in renal failure, he's not. He was on metformin for his diabetes, and had to be off it for 4 weeks prior to his heart ct scans, and isn't going to go back on it unless his numbers get out of whack again since it's so bad on kidneys. He sees his cardiologist tomorrow, so we'll find out if he needs surgery and if I'll need to go home to help drive.

I hope everyone is having a lovely Monday.

Hope all goes well with your dad - will it be an open heart surgery if he needs one? That will be a lot of recovery time.
It's so good that you are so supportive of your parents. They are lucky to have you - nevertheless, I hope that he will not need surgery.

Thanks, Kit - it was really nice to see an all around good cycle. Fingers crossed she can keep it going.

I wish I could be more helpful, but they're 12 hours away, which makes it hard. They should find out tomorrow what is happening. Mom was thinking stent? I'm hoping it's something easier like that.

I don't wish surgery on him, but it would be nice to see the fam since I didn't make it home for Christmas. If he does, I'm hoping if there's enough time I can convince Eric to test while I'm gone so I don't have to vacay dose too hard.
