5/20 Tessa AMPS 247 +3 277 +6 266 +9 221 PMPS 235 +2 232

There's a small chance that my husband messed up her shot last night. It was the first shot he gave her this time around and he said it felt like there was barely anything in the syringe when he did the shot which is true because 0.5 units is very little but maybe he accidentally pressed the plunger before he put the syringe in? I felt around for fur shots and didn't find any wetness so it would have had to be before he even got close to her which seems very unlikely because I stood next to him and gave him the syringe and then he bent down and gave her the shot.
0.5U is a small enough dose, that you one could feel like you're not giving anything. I would not worry about a furshot :)

Definitely feeling like a bounce at this point. Hopefully it clears soon but I'm also very thankful that she's not going into the pinks, hopefully it stays that way!
I think she needs more insulin and you could take her up to 0.75U tomorrow - unless she reacts to the threat of an increase!

Thanks and I agree that she's due for an increase. I was thinking tomorrow or the next day for the increase. I will be out of the house for part of the day tomorrow though. I have a dentist appointment an hour after her AM shot and it's about 30 minutes away so I'll basically have to shoot and leave soon after. I should be home around +2 though and then I have an eye exam later in the day (at +7 but I'll probably leave home at +6.5). Do you think I'd be OK to increase or should I wait until I can be home all day which would be Wednesday?

I'm glad Bhooma stopped in and suggested that increase. How much does Tessa weigh? I think she was started on too low a dose. It's not uncommon for kitties to show a bit of reaction when they first start insulin, but then it fades away.
