My cat was diagnosed w diabetes in January and has been on Bexacat since. At the beginning she had diarrhea which vet said was normal when first starting bexacat, diarrhea improved and she was fine up until 3 weeks ago. She has ongoing diarrhea no matter what I try, I’ve tired pumpkin, chicken, rice and probiotics, I called the vet and she recommended a fecal test and that came back negative. She recommended putting Metamucil in her food and it’s been 3 days so far and no improvement. The vet did speak with the Bexacat customer service to see if it may be the meds and they said it shouldn’t be and that’s mainly a side effect in the beginning. I’ve had no recent food changes. Vet said she may have become intolerant to the food or probiotics. Help!
