Amps 129 Libre

Ivy had 2 somewhat active cycles yesterday with a bit lower dips a couple of times.
I tried to test in the middle of the night at +7. She dropped to LO on the Libre, but she shook her head and blood went flying and into her fur, so that was very unsuccessful. :arghh:

She’s already on the move this morning and I added just under a teaspoon of 9% to her breakfast. Looks like we will probably have an active morning. We’ll see what happens. Wishing you all a safe Monday. :cat:

I know. Why can’t they just sit still. And she was fighting me and I told her you’re gonna have to get another poke. Ugh.
The Libre can drop through 40s numbers then to Lo (or it can drop right from say 55 down to Lo).
But then if she bounces back up higher I stop poking since I know she’s out of possible danger.

I hate it too when Mikan shakes her head and a nice bead of blood just disappears! Argh!
Like it wasn't enough, Mikan then would raise her hind leg to scratch the area behind the ear I just poked :rolleyes:

Hi Kit, laughing on the unladylike position of Mikan. Hard to believe she would do that. She’s so regal.

If Ivy would just be a better patient on all fronts. Sigh. She’s never been a good girl with being handled.

Blood freckles, ugh. So true. The door she was up against is also coated. Had to clean that at 1 am.:banghead:

Oh Staci, that sounds like an unrestful night! So good Ivy was safe even though she didn't really cooperated. Of course Binie likes to shake her head too. :banghead: I hope you can rest today or at least have some tasty :coffee:.

Well we just had a partial fur shot since Ivy jumped away. She sure shocked me. I didn’t expect that so I may get an earlier bedtime if she shoots up way high tonight from getting less insulin, we’ll see how that goes. :arghh:

Oh noooo..... Ivy!!! She is always good for a surprise and I am sure it shocked you. Maybe we have to accept, that with some cats 80 % is already perfection. Good to read she managed to catch up again in the morning. You are doing such an amazing job with such a special kitty! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
