A really good day yesterday. Did you have to feed any Farmina or gravy last night?

I wonder if he will bounce today? Can you get a +2? That will tell us which way he is headed.

No I didn’t have to feed any Farmina at all . However this morning he was being stubborn and wouldn’t eat his YAZ so I had to put a few Farmina in it so he would eat it otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to give his shot ,so I hope he doesn’t get High-numbers at +2 .I don’t think because it was only a few pieces to trick him into eating the YAZ.

Even if doesn't eat immediately, you have 2 hours till the insulin is onset to get food into him. You can always leave the YAZ and see if he eats it in the first 2 hours after the shot and if he doesn't then give him a little Farmina with it at +2. When you shoot low blues or greens, you might have to worry more about getting him to eat with the shot.

Ok thanks for that info I just didn’t put 2 and 2 together .Makes sense as the shot doesn’t start to work until 2 hours.

I for got to mention Bailie had a poop last night and it was on the softer side . Not diarrhea but kinda soft . Is that ok ? I’m still giving the SB . I’m wondering if it’s the YaZ

He will probably head up from here. Will he be okay without food from now tilll PMPS? If not, feed a little now and then take a break from food/tests till PMPS.

So do these things happen to even regulated cats ?
Not with tightly regulated cats. They don't bounce as much. But this is the path to getting regulated. You bounce a lot at first, then not as much and not at all (Although, I've read that there are cats that bounce all the way to remission).

Baillie is doing great, Nancy. Don't worry. He is now seeing green almost every day. Hasn't seen any reds in a week and he isn't seeing as much pink as even 2 week back.
