Eddie had sub-q today and is relatively less grumpy. The good news, though, is to be found inthe kitty box.

Saw some nice pics of the night sky in Kelowna list night from a couple people. Hope you got a look too of the northern lights.

PM and guess what? He started eating. I gave him the shot. He stopped eating, is refusing to eat and is the grumpiest I have ever seen him. He swatted at me for the first time in his life when I was trying to encourage him to eat.

A couple of days ago. He’s now gone through the cat door to the catio and is sulking outside. As soon as he comes in, I’ll give him some.

Ondansetron can be given 3-4 times a day. The oral version doesn't last that long in the cat.

PM +8 I had not slept well after all that and when I got up to test @+8, I went to give Eddie Cabergoline (1.1ML) as I usually do at this time and I'm not sure if I made a mistake and gave him Mirataz!!!!! He usually gets .1ml of that if he going to get it. Now I'm freaking out...I

I called the emerg clinic and to err on the side of caution and at their recommendation, I brought Eddie in.

I feel so incredibly stupid. I always carefully line up all medications and ensure I've got the right tablets, liquid, syringes.... The liquid Mirtaz was right next to the Cabergoline and I am uncertain if I grabbed the wrong one.

It happens, really it does, especially when one is tired. Please don’t beat yourself up. I think we’ve all made mistakes at some point. And maybe you did actually grab the cabergoline, right?

So glad Eddie is at the ER where they can monitor him. Just as importantly, are you ok?
