Good Furrrrriday everyone :)

Since the 7th when Fistuk had 50 PMPS I feel like he's telling me that he wants a redecuy. He will need to stay more steady to get it. Yesterday he fluctuated between high greens and low blues so we'll see what he's doing today.

Since I started the flower essence for his eyes they have become so much better. He doesn't have stretor breath anymore, no nose mucus and much less tear!

The Renax tablets that the vet gave for kidney support are quite a mouthful. I tried first mixing it with the food but it didn't go well so I changed to mix with water in a syringe. At first, it went well bit quickly he started to resist it. I also think that the amount of water he consumed like this just made him fell full and he started eating less.

According to his weight, he needs three tablets a day which feels like a lot because it's quite dense herby tablets. I'm still experimenting with how to give it. Since he started it I noticed two things: He pukes this morning as well. Just a small ring and transparent. But looks like it's not from the L-lysin because I stopped it so perhaps it's the Renax - the third time now since we started Renax 17 days ago-

But, also, he's opening the bakery now almost every day! DH said that last night after I went to bed Fistuk was full of beans and he pooped without straining. I had right from the start a sense that the Renax somehow has a good influence on his bakery production.

For reference this is the link to the Renax:

I did post on Tanya's forum and received some feedback on the last labs and some of the supplements. However, I found that there's mainly one person who responds and I found her attitude quite alienating so i find it difficult to trust advice from someone who doesn't make the effort to first get to know Fistuk and brings strong assumptions. Here we say ECID and I appreciate it!

Fistuk has good spirit this morning too. He was playing with one of the new feathers I picked up for him on my walk in the forest. Later he'll have some balcony basking.

Wishing you all a wonderful Furiday :bighug:

Christine, you warm my heart so deeply with our words and love :kiss:
Everyone says I'm such a good mum but you know, I'm constantly worried that I'm not doing enough for Fistuk, that I don't know how to decipher all the different aspects of his symptoms and sickness. I'm afraid I'll miss out on something important because I don't know how to understand it. Since he got sick I have experienced a lot of worry. It hasn't been like that for me before.
I decided to give him the supplements twice a day and not three and give half each time. That seems to work much better. Hopefully it'll be enough for have a god impact.
I hope you and the pack are well :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks, Diane :)
The vet said, after his last lab results came in, that she's not worried about phosphorous binding but I should care about less salt in the food. I don't know if I should already start with this supplument.
One person on Tanya's forum, who seems to be a main responder, said that according to Fistuk's labs he's really on the verge of CKD...

Well, at least we managed to figure out the management of his DX and his numbers are looking good.
Big hug to you and Tyler :bighug::bighug::bighug:

We are always harder on ourselves than anyone else (even the cats) are. It's a daily struggle to love them so much, and agonize over every detail that will keep them healthy. I truly understand this. Sending you much love, and a gentle reminder that is easier said than done, and not something I myself am good at- go easy on yourself. :bighug::bighug:
