Amps 52 Libre/100 Contour
L= Libre
C= Contour meter

Good morning,
We had a very “green” Libre cycle overnight (which usually translates to a blue cycle on the Contour meter)
She never went very low “Lo” on the Libre and I was exhausted, (didn’t poke her overnight). I slept in the basement on the sofa to have easy access, in case she went super low.
I did ear poke her at Amps just to see exactly where she was. Gave 4.5 unit dose as she was safe.
Fed 6% food.
So far she’s staying low on Libre so looks to be an active cycle.
Will be home to monitor.

I am hoping to get out for dinner tonight to see a friend off who is moving away. Will see how the day goes. DH will be home (but he doesn’t really know anything)
Would just have him make sure she eats snacks at +1,2,3. I will probably feed her 9.25% just to hold her a bit higher since I will be out and about 20 minutes away but can monitor on her Libre.

Also have a funeral Friday, maybe late morning …(waiting for time and details). Would be out for about 2 hours.

Will need to see how that plays out in terms of Ivy and everything. :(

Hope everyone has a safe day :cat:

So much going on! Seems that is prevalent everywhere these last few days. I much prefer smooth drama-free days, but it seems universe has other ideas.

Sending smoooooth vibes for you and Ivy. :bighug:

"DH will be home (but he doesn’t really know anything)"....I'm sorry but I had to laugh and can totally empathize!
I'm sorry about the funeral; I hope Ivy cooperates and you can get through the week with as little stress as possible. :bighug:

Well, true to course whenever Ivy surfs nice and beautifully, low she blows out the Libre sensor. Predictably, it failed this morning around +3.
Tested with the Contour and got a 106 when the Libre read LO.
Between the multiple pricks already and installing the new Libre, she’s not too thrilled with me and it’s only 10:30 in the morning.
Happy May. o_O

lol, glad you can relate to the DH situation Christine. I mean actually, I’m sorry you can relate. It would be nice if none of us could relate.
Oh well, it is what it is.
I’m sending you wishes for a drama free day, cause I know you need them as well:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hope you can go out to see your friend tonight and Ivy behaves well and eats her snacks. Do you still put them in different places to keep it interesting for her? :) Have a beautiful and safe day! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Afternoon Staci, Ivy did so good last night and she's surfing along nicely today. I hope you can get out tonight to see your friend , Sorry about the funeral on Friday.
I'm glad DH will be home to make sure she eats her snacks if you decide to go out to dinner :bighug::bighug::bighug::D

Thank you Heike, I try to move the feeder but she’s not too interested. It’s a small room she hangs out in. It’s her kitty cave. :bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

What a great streak!
Ivy's really working it ;)

I totally emphasize this. Mine can feed as long as I have very pointy, specific instructions for him.
Hope Ivy coasts nicely and you don't have to stress out too much :bighug::bighug::bighug:
She’s been working hard for 2 solid cycles. And blew out a Libre to boot. What a day :eek:

I need to write a list of how to feed and what time. This should be interesting if I get to go out. I’m a bit nervous since she’s been so low for her all day. I’ve been feeding like a tsp of LC all day to see if that keeps her coasting. Seems to be working. o_O
I’m not thrilled to leave when she’s so low for her.
Still on the fence…. Stay tuned

I know Diane, she’s done great today. Hoping she hangs in but let’s me go out tonight. Time will tell!!
Thanks for your sweet sentiment. And hoping DH can follow a list

Hi Staci, hope Ivy cooperates so you can enjoy dinner tonight.
I’m still trying to figure out why your libre reads so differently from the handheld. Is it only when it’s a lo reading or all the time that they differ so much? Of course we are no where near the lows you get but I’ve started to get the vet to manually test and read the libre whenever they change the sensor, and they are always close. Today it was a difference of 1 and most times the libre is higher than the vets reading. Could it be where it’s placed on Ivy? I know you know so much more than me about the Libre, so maybe it doesn’t effect it…..just a thought. You get a such big difference and that’s got to be so frustrating that they ‘burn” out and having to replace them.

Good luck with your night out!

I wish I knew why the readings are vastly different. They always have been.
We actually blew out a second sensor today, too. Her low stretches are demise of these sensors.
Thanks for checking in, Deb! :bighug::cat::bighug:
