4/27 Jude (day 13 of OTJ trial) AMBG 108; PMBG 101

I haven't been following your journey but yay. Hopefully your bags are packed for the falls. You can almost hear them.
Congratulations :cat::bighug::cat::bighug::cat::bighug::cat::bighug::cat::bighug::cat::bighug::cat:

Thank you! Our journey has actually been a short one--Jude was only diagnosed on 3/25, so just over a month ago. He became very sick 24 hours after a steroid shot, one of about three he has received the past year, and I think the steroids contributed to his full-blown diabetes diagnosis. As soon as I adjusted his diet, though, and got him on Lantus, and as soon as the steroid was out of his system, he started returning to normal. So he and I have been lucky, and I realize just how lucky we are when I read the other stories. I only hope he can remain within normal ranges. Thank goodness for this group that has offered such vital support.

That's so wonderful to hear. I wish both of you the very best. May he stay in remission for the rest of his life. Congratulations on this achievement :cat::bighug::cat::bighug:
