Two days in a row with no crazy drops so I'm hoping for the same today. Am I getting the hang of these threads with the URL links?

Quick question - Watson's Libre2 sensor will end on May 1st but the vet can't put on a new one until May 6th. I purchased all that's needed to test with a meter, how many times a day do I need to do that? Only before shots? When he seems lethargic?
In the past I've not done anything if there is a gap but I want to be more pro-active now that he's on low carb food.

Hey Rosie, great job linking your previous days post
You have to test Watson's BG before giving the insulin both AMPS and PMPS
I would then get a test in @+2, @+4 and @+6 for both cycles. Of course if his numbers are dropping to low you will need to feed and keep testing until his BG comes up to safe numbers
Of course if you aren't sure about something always post
