Happy Furrrriday :=)

Vet visited us today. She took blood to get a full blood work and also check phosphorus to see if it gives us answers to why his back legs are itchy, sometimes twitchy and weak.

It not easy takin blood from Fistuk but she did that so skilfully. Results expected on Monday.

Vet said that the eyes are a bit swollen but this as well as he teary eyes and congested nose is allergy reaction. I've ordered some flowers essence from Green Hope Farm. looking forward to receiving them.

Other than that all is well here. Fistuk is eating well. He having more blue at +3/4 but I suspect it's the allergy reaction influence. He's PS are green and nadir mostly between 50's-70's.

I'm still struggling with a cough and congested nose. Temps drops to 2 degrees and we had a dump of snow yesterday. This morning when I woke up with an eye infection was already unfazed. I think my spirit is giving its immune and hopefully my immune system will catch up :p

Wishing you all a wonderful day :bighug:

The vet discovered that Fistuk likes eye massage so she gave him some in between checks to relax him:kiss:

Either Prince is thinking "this is going quite well" OR "how lucky I am that I'm not sick" :woot:

Hi Shelly, good to hear from you. Sorry you're still struggling with the cough and congested nose.
Sorry about the eye infection too :bighug:
Love the pics of the vet with Fistuk. Aww Fistuk loves eye massages ♥
His numbers look very good Shelky
I'm looking at Prince looking up at the vet and Fustuk you made me laugh at what you said that Prince could be thinking :p

I hope you have a nice day :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:

Hi Shelly,
Such adorable pics! Thank you for sharing.
But wait, did you say SNOW? My goodness, Shelly, it's mid April! Hope the weather gets kinder and you feel better soon :bighug:
Hope the bloodwork will give you information you need to help Fistuk!
Have a great Friday and weekend! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Good morning, Shelly, thanks for uploading those beautiful pictures of the exam.
That was hilarious “what Prince must be thinking”. I agree with you. He was very relieved It was not him up on the table. ;)

Fistuk looked relaxed and the vet was very chill in her exam. :)

(So different from what everything looks like when I take Ivy to the vet, it’s the complete opposite of chill, sadly.)

I’m glad that you have a wonderful situation going on there and hopefully you will get some answers that will be able to help Fistuk feel even better.
His numbers look glorious and you’re doing such an amazing job with him. :cat:
Sending you peaceful wishes for a very relaxing weekend ahead.

I hope you feel better as well. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks, Diane. Last week when I woke up with another eye infection I was already laughing. The first step is my spirit is immune :p
Bless Prince, he was so sweet the way he followed and looked at everything that happened :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Kit :)
Yes, we had snow and today again. But in fact it's quite normal for such weather changes here in April. Not so cold as it came to this year but a dump of snow is possible.
Looking forward to the return of the sun :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Staci :)
Don't be fooled by the picot, Fistuk was not relayed at all.
The vest the vet brought was very useful and there's no doubt that on the whole it's much better having this all done at home.
But drawing blood was tough. He kept on jumping right as she inserted the needle so the needle pulled out. He was screaming and resisting all the while.
I must say the vet was extremely good with finding the vein. Another vet would have struggled with Fistuk's jumps. But in the third try she was right in. The blood dropped so slowly but she got enough.
Then for the ear check he was more relaxed but not without resistance. Eventually the poor thing peed in the vet from stress. From past experience I can tell you he would have pee much easier on a vet's table.
The good news we're behind it.
Now waiting for the results :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Well he LOOKED relaxed!! lol.
He’s certainly goy us all fooled from here.
Glad the vet was able to draw blood and do what she needed.

I know Ivy is a lunatic and it’s a whole thing when we go for labs. Wish it was not so stressful for her, me and the entire staff.
Fistuk peed on the vet…. He was telling her he was DONE with her! He has his own way of communicating!
