I was contemplating a further decrease to 1.75 to give myself a bit more of a buffer because I have a lot of notes that I have to be in the building for (and a lighting designer who needs to use the genie lift and be in the grid, and can't do that without someone else in the space, and the only other person in the space is the costume designer who has to be in her shop building a dress for tonight), and of course she gives a lovely green preshot, and then races right to that automatic decrease anyway. *sigh*

So I'll be working from home this morning, and then hopefully I have a chance to run to Walmart for some things on my way to my dentist appointment at 11 (which I think I might reschedule if possible) and then flight of the bumblebee try to get as much done as I can before I need to leave work by +11 (5pm) to get home and maybe shower before her shot (6pm) and then race back to work to be there by 6:30 for any questions from crew since we go tonight at 7.

I'll just be over here repeating to myself "I love my job and the choices I've made.":banghead:

YES!!! any drop in the 30s is an automatic reduction. This drop looks like it could very well be reflective of the 2 units since this is the 5th cycle (typically it takes 4-6 cycles for the depot to adjust to a reduced dose). Take the reduction she's earned it :cat:
She may just cooperate and bounce from the that 37. f you're still worried about her safety this week and don't trust her bouncing to cooperate , I don't see the harm in reducing further to 1.5 to keep her safe.

Thanks - I was pretty sure, but wanted to confirm, especially since she's on the 5th cycle of this dose. I might see where she is at PMPS and then decide if I want to go down further to 1.5.
I was also questioning what I should feed her when I was testing her the last test, and then was like, she already has the reduction, just let her have more of the 20%. Duh. :joyful:

Shoot, Kitcat! Mojitos party so early in the morning!
Hope she steadies now and harbor in the high dark greens or low blues by the time you need to get your teeth cleaned.
And temporally going down to 1.5 may not be a bad idea while your show is running.
Kit cat, I know you want your momma home but she's gotta earn her keep to get to all the fancy stuff you enjoy!

Dentist appointment rescheduled successfully! So that's good.
By the time PMPS hits, I'll probably have decided to go to 1.5 to be safe. Just trying to figure out how to manage today has been ridiculous. Like, it'll all get covered, and things will be fine, this was just supposed to be a less stressful show (hahahahah)
I also heard today that my roof at work that desperately needs to be replaced (it's 30 years old), can't have the Band-Aids done anymore that are keeping it mostly okay because just walking on it makes it worse. Except there are leaks. In the lobby. And on stage. Where we have a show opening on Thursday. wooooooo. :banghead: :spam:

Man. Girl just doesn't really wanna budge from where she is. I have to leave around +5, so I'll probably leave out some 20% and 15% for her to snack on while I'm gone. The 15% is because she seemed to not be as into the 20% when I tried feeding it at +4 - so I did a mix of the 20 and 15. Because she's not really going higher with all the HC she's had, I'll plan to go ahead and go to 1.5 tonight just to be safe.

Morning Alicia I also think going down to 1.5 units is a good idea to be on the safe side. :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:
Me too! :D

I am sooo sorry....:bighug:

Oh boy, Alicia. What a wild ride Miss Kit pulled today. Not great timing but you handled it so beautifully. I’m so proud of you.
You made all the right choices and the reduction sounds like the best idea especially with the show going on.
Best to keep her safest you can. Wishing you best of luck with the show and especially with the safety of Kit Cat :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I think we've hit the bounce tonight, thank goodness. I was super worried when I got home and saw that she didn't eat any of the food I left out. :banghead: Eric has instructions on what to feed her tonight, and I should be home by +4ish to test her. I did go ahead and drop down to 1.5 (I definitely was in muscle memory and drew up to 2 before I caught myself. Whoops!)

And now on to first dress! Woot!

Oof, definitely made it home later than anticipated. She seems to have either come back down to pretty close to her preshot level or just sort of coasted where she was while I was gone. We were supposed to start at 7 and didn't go until almost 745, so that definitely pushed us later. We'll have to do better, or making it to the show start time of 730 will be rough. But we've got tomorrow to get better. The first night of costumes is always the hardest, especially when it's a pretty green cast.

Fingers crossed that tomorrow she doesn't pull the same shenanigans, I have to teach from 8-10.
