Happy Sunday and Evey starts using her new auto feeder:cat:

Today is the 3rd day on 0.5U. It seems she is doing pretty well with this dose. It seems the depo of 0.75U is gone. No hypo anymore so I could finally get some sleep. But her nadir is not within the 50-80 range and she stays above 100 overall. Does it mean the reduction fail? I'm not really sure how to tell a reduction fail.

Evey was laying next to the bedroom door this morning. I opened the door and somehow i startled her (I know I just got out of the bed and had crazy hair but I can't be that scary, kitty cat ). So her BG went up from 151 to 178 in a minute. It took her almost 2 hours to get back down to 157. Is that normal?

UPDATE:
TIME Libre Food
19:01 128 25g 0.5U
20:01 140
21:11 117 25g
22:03 110 25g

Yes, this is the 0.5U dose working. The 0.75U depot is out of the picture. She is just bouncing from the lower numbers of yesterday, so it's too soon to say that the reduction has failed. Let's see what she does tonight. Enjoy the break and catch up on sleep! :-)

This is probably a food bump before insulin is onset. Don't worry about it!

Can you help me take a good at her SS? Her BG doesn't drop a lot tonight. How do I tell if the reduction has failed or not?

Today is the first day Evey is using the auto feeder. I will only use the auto feeder during the day when I go to work. I will feed 25g before I go to work and the auto feeder will feed the 75g. If I set the feeder to feed her every 25g at +2, +3 and +4, is that ok?

She dropped to 61 today. I would not call it a failed reduction yet. Looks like you are missing the nights of no sleep! ;)

Sounds good :)

LOL I like it when her BGs are low but I definitely don't miss the nights of staying up.

She dropped to 61 today.
That's right. she did drop to 61 today, but that number is kind of weird. She was at 72 an hour before 61, but then the next hour she jumped up to 113. I don't really understand this. I was worried if the sensor was broken. but the sensor seems fine.

I found it strange that her evening number didn't drop really low tonight because usually her evening numbers would be lower than the daytime numbers in general. Her BG has has been blue tonight until just now she got a green number 85 at +5. seems kind of high overall.

Sometimes they drop lower at night and bounce in the day and at other times it is the reverse.
