The carb loading last night did a good job of keeping Kit in safer numbers while I was gone, and I'm still debating if I'll go that route or a temp reduction since I'll be in tech Sunday through Wednesday. We'll see how tonight goes.

Kit has a vet visit today - just a quick one so she can get her monthly dose of solensia. Then it's off to work to get lots of things done in preparation for Sunday's first tech. Last show of the year. Last show in this theatre/building for the foreseeable future (we're temporarily moving to a new space and are hopefully getting renovations).

I hope everyone has a good Friday!

Good luck at vet today, and with work. Kit looks like she went mountain climbing but came back to picnic in the grass- hope she stays there for you over the weekend. :bighug:
We're ever so fortunate that we found a vet who really only does house calls. So Kit's vet appointment was at 9 am, and by 9:11 the vet was done giving shots, chatting about Kit, getting paid and setting up next month's appointment. Which is amazing for Kit's stress levels. And mine, to be honest.

That’s so incredibly great for Kit and you, too. So glad it’s become very easy thing. I’m actually trying to see if I can find one to at least come to blood pressure checks since my vet doesn’t seem to want to do them on Ivy. Not sure if it’s possible since Ivy is such a maniac but I’m doing some inquiries right now.;)
So glad the carbs did the trick last night. :cat:
Wishing you luck with everything tonight and keeping Kit safe. :cat:Have a great day Alicia.:bighug::bighug::bighug:

I hope you're able to find one. One of the things I looked for when I was searching was low stress vet clinics. They tend to be more likely to do house calls because that's their MO?
Maybe you would be able to do a slightly lesser amount of gaba for a home visit? Kit doesn't get gaba on just shot days - it's a quick over and done kinda thing. She definitely gets dosed (but only needs it about 3 hours before) if there's a claw trim or blood draw.

Good meowning Alicia and Kit!
She behaved and had beautiful cycles yesterday. Hoping for the same results for you today. Good luck with the vet visit, hopefully she doesn't get too stressed out.
Wishing you a peaceful furrrriday!

Thanks, Karolina. It was over so fast that she tends to not get too stressed. She growls a little and acts angry, and then sniffs the vet's bag and scowls at us. We just laugh at her, which I'm sure doesn't impress her. :joyful::joyful:

That vet sounds like a winner!

Hahaha, sassy girl!

Are you contemplating doing the vacation dose while you have the show running?
Kit cat seems very steady after clearing the last bounce. I guess you will see how things go today. Hope she will give you a clear answer (although consideration is not cats' thing;)).

I think I want to try to stick with the current dose if she doesn't throw me any crazy numbers today or tomorrow. But she has seemed to steady out some which is nice. Of course I'm adding the antijinx.
