That was a surprising AMPS to wake up to. I love it, but also, am a little worried since I have to teach this morning. I fed her a heaping tablespoon of 20% at +2, and then left more out for her to eat while I'm gone, and I'll go back to check on her by +4 (unless class ends early, and then it'll be earlier - and with how bad these folks are about turning things in and it being a presentation of projects day, might be how it goes.)

Would Eric reliably give extra food/carbs and would Kit cat eat it if he's the one doing the feeding? Wouldn't be the worst thing if you did a temporary reduction.
He's pretty reliable about it - especially since I scared him by printing out hypo symptoms to watch for last time. He wants that to definitely not happen. :joyful:
I'll probably take a temporary reduction. She may earn one before I even get there if she keeps tracking the way she has this morning or Tuesday night. If she doesn't earn one by then, start the temp reduction evening on Friday? Give the depot a couple of days to drain before the chaotic-ness starts on Sunday?

Good meowning Alicia and Kit!
What a beautiful start and good cycle so far, but I totally get the stress part when you're not there to monitor. Hopefully the 20% gets her through safely until your return.
Happy Thursday

Thanks, Karolina. She seems to have stayed steady, but that was on 20% carbs. I can be home til +6ish, and then I have to go into work, so she may just get loaded up on carbs depending on how she does. I did just give her 15%, so we'll so what that does to her numbers.
The downside is that I can't do much of my work from home because the internet is out. Because of course it is.

Scritches to the boys!

Ok in that case hopefully she comes up a bit before you have to leave.
Scritches received. Thank you :cat::bighug::cat::bighug:

Please give sweet KitKat some belly rubs and nose boops

Beautiful cycle - Great job carbing her up to stay put.
It's nerve wrecking to have to be away when you know she's harboring low dark green. So glad Eric is around.
Be nice to him ;)
Hope your internet gets restored and you can work from home.
Technology! It's annoying that we are dependent on it, and it's infuriating when isn't working!

Nice cycle for Kit Cat, Alicia. Good kitty staying safe.
Glad you’ve got Eric onboard with the details. And he can give her carbs per your instructions.
Good luck at school tonight. Hope all goes well.
Pets and scritches to Kit from me :bighug::cat::bighug:
