Gravy is eating some but not as good as usual. I added water to her Friskies and she ate most of it. She is also drinking from her water bowl so not worried about hydration. I noticed she's favoring one side of her mouth so it may be a tooth issue. As she is 15 in a couple weeks, I'm not sure how much vet can do, but we'll see.
I decided to keep her on 1u for today since she is not very open to me testing her.
I'll try not to worry too much. (But of course I will).
Have a nice Sunday.

Hi Vicki, I’m sorry you had a rough day yesterday and Gravy got angry with you. I hope you’re able to get her to eat.
I understand how difficult it can be.
Some of my own struggles and ideas:
I try to feed Ivy in a very quiet environment. No tv or loud noises. I tell my husband not to come in to talk to me while we are doing feeding, shot and medicating.
Sometimes things happen and it sets Ivy off and distracts her. Sometimes she decides to wander into another room and then it becomes a problem to get her to focus and eat.
So I just try my best to control certain factors of else she gets angry with me, like you described yesterday.
I’ve also learned with Ivy that I try not to do anything to piss her off in the several hours leading up to food and shot time of she will be mad at me and will still be angry then and it never goes well.

So… no nail trims, no brushing her or anything that can just set her off.
It’s just her personality. All this to say just try to think about keeping a calm routine for Gravy to try to set yourself up for success.
And maybe none of this matters for Gravy.
Just wanted to share my own battle if it sheds any light for you.
Wishing you a good eating day and that Gravy feels much better soon :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you! Very good ideas. I'm a little worried about tomorrow at vet but we'll see. She definitely isn't feeling good.

She's feeling a little better. I made a puree with pate and water at +4 and +6. The first time she ate, but not eagerly, and I had to pet her the whole time. This afternoon she dove into it and locked the bowl clean, purring the whole time! So definitely beginning to feel more like herself. I will test before the shot and hopefully she'll be more cooperative.

Thank you for fixing the SS from yesterday, I can see the data now :). Sending lots of positive vetty vines, hope the appointment goes well tomorrow. In the meantime, glad to see Miss “grumpy pants” ate well this afternoon and was purring, that’s all good stuff to see.

I think she has mild pancreatitis. I put a little parm cheese on her food and she chowed down a little than started growling at hissing. At food, not me. She's drinking well and eating some so hopefully some anti nausea meds will take care of her.
