Morning. A surprise this am. And I was so worried.
I was 15 minutes behind schedule this morning and was greeted with a great number. Since we're following SLGS I know I don't shoot and wait. I'm waiting but if still low I don't give her shot. I did give her a couple of teaspoons of food since I do that automatically as soon as I get blood. If it goes up with food should I do the shot? Or just give token shot?

Hi Vicki, please put a question in your title like “Stalling, do I Shoot” For dosing help.
Ladies, are you around to advise?

Can you monitor if you shoot? You shot 164 before and she had a nice flat blue cycle
Has it been 20 mins since the previous test and food? Can you get another test if so?
It has been a little more than 20 minutes so I'll retest now. I was so excited I didn't know what to do:) I will be doing outside chores today but can monitor some.

Gravy still mad but I gave her a little chicken baby food and that distracted her enough that I managed to get a reading. I gave her her dose but hoping I can check her before bed.

She didn't eat with her usual gusto. I encouraged her to eat and she did eat some baby food chicken with chicken broth along with a little Friskies. Then she started growling a little. I think she might have a little pancreatitis. Fortunately our vet office is open for urgent care on Sunday so if she's still off, I'll bring her in.
ETA No vomiting, and if I held food in my hand she ate pretty well. The vet said as long as no vomiting and I can get her to eat and stay hydrated can wait til Monday am. Not worried about being dehydrated for tonight. If she is dehydrated tomorrow I'll bring her in. Otherwise Monday appt.
