Good morning,
After a high pink bounce day yesterday am cycle, the pm cycle was a big bounce breaking cycle. Ivy went to lower numbers by +4 and kept going down by +5. and tested Lo on Libre (97 on Contour).

By +6 she lingered in the Lo range on the Libre and as I’ve noticed, Libre steps, spitting out data. But happened for 1.5 hours and it resumed data. She stayed low with her numbers all overnight.
I slept on the sofa since the Libre was beeping low alerts all night long and I didn’t want to keep DH up, so I never went to bed. I didn’t get much sleep. :blackeye:
She’s definitely bouncing now from those overnight lows.
It’s gonna be a long day.
Not sure if I’ll have the energy for my 3 mile walk today.
We’re due to go out to dinner tonight and I will feed 12.5% for her meal just to keep her high enough so she doesn’t go too low before I get home.
Paws Crossed that works since she’s not really eating her snacks on her own. Sometimes she does, sometimes she doesn’t.
Wishing everyone a safe day :cat:

Afternoon Staci, sorry you were up most of the night, you have to be exhausted, active cycle for sure today. I hope she stays in dark greens all day today so you might be able to get a little cat nap in before you go out to dinner tonight. Ivy please eat your snacks while mom is out .:bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:

Oh boy, Staci - what a rough night.
It's such an irony that when they do well, we have less sleep
Hope you can find time for a quick nap today. Don't push too hard today - you need to relax!
Ivy's doing so beautifully though. What a sweetie.
Hope you get to enjoy your dining out without having to worry tonight!

Oh I'm sorry you didn't get any sleep. I see she is on a green mission today, sending 'hold steady' wishes and hope you can have some fun tonight. Sending hugs to you both :bighug:

Wow, Ivy! Nice cycle, but sorry for your night, Staci. I am with you, I had to wake up at 3 am to take our flight back home, it's a very long day indeed!

To make testing easier for Gravy (and me), I am thinking about the Libre. I'm not sure if Gravy will keep one on though. Do you have to have an outfit on, or does Ivy leave it alone?

Hi Diane, I’ll bet you don’t miss this at all!!
She sure likes to clear a quick bounce like lightning these days.
But no time to recover from the last cycle.
Good and bad right?
Paws crossed she eats tonight and stays steady.
Hope you have a nice night ahead :bighug::cat::bighug:

Hi Staci

Looks like Gato Meow has a busy day planned for you. I hope you can fit a nap in there somewhere before your evening dinner.
Ivy please behave and give mama some rest.

Happy Caturday :cat::bighug::cat::bighug:

Ivy must wear something to cover the Libre. For almost a year she wore a tee shirt but I realized she hated it (some cats don’t mind at all). I now have a “tube” top I made, like a strapless top, on over a wide headband (I bought it at the grocery store, lol). Ivy has ripped one off when I left it uncovered. She can’t be trusted. Bad kitty.
Here are pics of both options I used (the tee shirts were a baby size 12 months, she’s around 14+ pounds for reference )

if you look closely at the right shoulder, she was chewing holes in the sleeves of the tee shirt. That’s when I realized she hated it I had thought maybe she was allergic to something, but it was the tee :(
Hope this helps!

Hi Kit, you’re so right. They do better, we suffer more. Somehow not a good equation is it?
I hope you are having a calm day. I’m gonna try to close my eyes for a little bit to see if I can try to rest at the very least.
Hope you guys have a great night.

Hi Cecile, thank you for the sympathy. Sending it right back at you. I can’t imagine waking up at 3 o’clock for flight. That’s just horrible. I’ve never been a fan of those flights.
I hope your trip was good and you and your daughter had a great time.
And I hope Bella survived OK, despite some of the mishaps. I’m sure you’ll be relieved to be home. :bighug::cat::bighug:

Thank you! She looks adorable. I'm not sure if Gravy would allow me to put it on her but maybe. I could try one day (not today!) and see how she does before getting the Libre.

Hi Karolina, miss Gato Meow is on the move day and night these days. She’s not cutting Momma any breaks during these cycles lately.o_O
I’ll be falling asleep in my dinner at the restaurant tonight. It’s almost not worth the effort to go out I’m just so tired.
At least I don’t have to cook dinner, so that’s a blessing in itself.
I hope you guys are having a calm day. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

And the lady at checkout asked my how old my baby was. I just had to laugh. (I told her a year, didn’t have the heart to say it was for my kitty):p:joyful:

Too funny! :joyful: I had a kitty growing up who didn't like being messed with, but my little sister used to put a bonnet on him and put him in her baby carriage and walk him around. He put up with it because she would give him a baby bottle with milk. Lol.
