Today is day 2 at 4.0u.

Purrl's doing just fine, up and about and nosy, insisting on lap time, carrying her baby (a stuffed Peep) up and down the hall and caterwauling. She's not done that for a week. Her bloating has greatly subsided as well.

She mooched some chicken and beef cheeks from hubby during cat food prep today.

I am thoroughly exhausted and so glad it's Friday. I'll get at least one more test tonight.

I know you've got to be tired with Ivy's active nights. I don't know how you do it day in and day out. I'm hoping when Purrl gets there that she'll be one of those Nestle-even-keel cats. Not sure how I'd handle a spring-loaded one like Ivy! If I don't sleep, I can't do my job.

I know you've got to be tired with Ivy's active nights. I don't know how you do it day in and day out. I'm hoping when Purrl gets there that she'll be one of those Nestle-even-keel cats. Not sure how I'd handle a spring-loaded one like Ivy! If I don't sleep, I can't do my job.

Believe me, it’s not easy. I’ve always been one who needs a lot of sleep. So this is especially tough for me. I’m out of bed at 5:30 am. (That’s 2 hours earlier than ever before for work). And the nights sometimes falling asleep on the sofa at 2 or 3 am… it’s hard. But no choice. So I just push through. What can you do.
I pray you don’t have my path….
