Happy Friday :)

Fistuk found his green strick:D. 14 cycles on 2.5U and 6 cycles in full green and nice nadirs. He even has nice numbers at +2. no more blue bumps at +3/+4... touch wood ;)

Wasn't always able to test at nadir time because ...work and no one was available to test at nadir time.

He's using more regularly and confidently the step to go up and down the bed. Still need a lot of encouragement to move and play.

Yesterday evening he wanted to go out to the balcony. The weather is beginning to warm up a bit and it was a lovely spring evening so I let him. His breath was quite awful at night. he's so sensitive to cold. But he needs to have some fun and it was adorable to see him running with his bunny butt :p

I put a pot of Bolognase sauce for pasta on the stove and now I have time to visit the forum and check in with my favorite kitties and humans! Hi Ruth :) I hope the remodelling came out nicely. I know how much work these house renovation projects are. It looks like you put on some comfort food to celebrate your efforst:) I love bolognese sauce. I make it often.
I too am happy I didn't go to Italy only to suffer there from the eye infection. I also have all my natural remedies at home so I was happy to have them available. We will go there in the summer and I'll start planing soon with sitters. It helps to see Fistuk doing so well. My main concern is having someone around enough to make sure he eats and not just sleep. But I'm confident that with enough planning time and some cosmic help we'll find the right solution.

It was interesting how it happened. At first he would go to my side of the new and call to be picked up, completely ignoring the step that's placed by Robert's side. Then I put him next to the step and he would climb on it but wait for the rest to materlise :p So next I put his front paws on the bed and held him from the back as he braved the jump. Now he doesn't need me to even protect him from behind.
Perhaps there's hope I'll find the right way to encourage him to eat on his own when I'm not home. Maybe I'll create an automated recording of my voice calling him out :woot::woot::woot:

It's interesting to notice the change in his back legs. When he runs for example or tries to jump it's really visible that he doesn't have the same tiptoes stance anymore like every other cat. Which obv makes it more difficult to run and jump. But it's encouraging to see that he still has some of it left in him and he's doing it more.
This dose does him well. Paws crossed we can get a whole week to continue like that.

Fistuk shows real enthusiasm when the weather gets warmer.
We've had some cold and grey day for a couple of weeks and the sun suddenly started shining yesterday. So welcome :)

Diane, Fistuk was having such fun today on the balcony. I made a video of him when he played with the feather on the chair.
Well the boys here don't have fun if the girl doesn't so... their choice :p

I'm def happier when Fistuk is making progress. I run like a troubled bee when he's not doing so well.
We had some amazing weather today. I'm enjoying the balcony in this flat so much. It was fun to spend most of the day out and with Fistuk on the chair next to me.

Hi Shelly, what a beautiful green report for Fistuk. :DHe sounds like he’s feeling so much better overall. You’re such a great Mum to both boys. :)
I can just imaging him jumping up on the bed and enjoying his patio time. He gets such pleasures out of these activities.
