? Nadir Question - 04/04 Puddin AMPS 232, +4 460

Good day, everyone!

May I have assistance understanding the nadir?

If the nadir is the lowest point in a cycle, Puddin's lowest reading could even be his preshot numbers...is this correct?
If so, what does this mean for him and how do I use this to better follow the TR protocol?

Good morning, Puddin is beautiful!
I suggest you post with a question mark in your title and something like “Nadir Question” in the title to get some answers. Hope this helps
Have a great day. :cat:

It is entirely possible for them to nadir at +12, or the preshot time. On Lantus Neko even showed me one at +13, even though typically it was between +7 to +9. You don't do TR any differently, but you do learn that you have to shoot lower numbers. As long as above 50.

You might want to get the odd +1 test when you can. That will tell you two things. First, is the nadir +12 or +13 on those cycles. Second, how much of a numbers bump does Puddin get from food. That's useful to know when you are shooting lower numbers.

At this moment, it's also hard to tell when Puddin has his Lantus onset, or when the Lantus takes effect. Looks like it's after +2. Neko's was somewhere around +3.5. Typical Lantus is +2-+3, but ECID. Again, this is handy to know when shooting lower numbers, and gives you a better idea when to test during the cycle.

Thank you for this information. I will get more data in the +1 - +3 range and +11 - +13 in the next few days. He's having a higher than usual day today overall.
