I have nothing to say. Yesterday was awful. The SS says it all- the more insulin I give this cat, the higher his numbers seem to go. His diet hasn't changed, if anything he's getting less carbs since he gave up the filets. I can't seem to get him off the Elsey's/Ziwi Peak kibble mix, but that has been a constant for a while. I guess I'm just waiting for the vet and those insulin resistance tests.

This IS frustrating. I hope you can get him tested soon - hasn't she called you yet? That's also infuriating !
But hang in there. You will find a way. I wish it were more straightforward though!

She sent me a text last week that she was going to be out of the office this past weekend and only in a half day this coming Friday (3/29) and the owner is closing the clinic for a long Easter holiday weekend. That means she's not back in the office until April 5th. She said she would work on my questions, but really, I'm annoyed that the staff shoved this off on her. I know she's Jack's vet, and she knows him, but all I want at this point is an estimate for 2 tests and the protocol for the Cushing's test, especially since he's a diabetic. I send them the link for Jack's SS with EVERY email, so anyone at the clinic should be able to provide this information. They are just so LAZY and INCOMPETENT! And I'm beyond frustrated- these tests are going to be expensive, I know the last time we went through them their markup was obnoxious, compared to what Michigan State charges them...so really, I can't understand why I'm stuck waiting. I'm sorry, today isn't a good day and I'm just venting. I apologize.
