You've shot as low as 226 a couple of times before, and safely. With Lantus, a lower preshot generally means a flatter cycle. 202 is only 10% lower than that. As long as you can get a before bed test in a few hours, you should be OK. See what happened a couple night ago with that 226.

When people have experience and data to do so, when following SLGS they can shoot as low as 90. But you can step your way down like this will do.

omg Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate your help, you helped ease my mind !! I can get multiple tests in tonight and I’m off tomorrow so I’ll be able to monitor him! Thanks again !!

what does it mean when their pre-shot numbers start getting lower? Could it be that we’re close to breaking through the glucose toxicity? He’s never had a pre-shot number that low and I’m not sure what causes it Besides him not eating, but he eats all day lol
 
It's possible he got lower than 202 during the day today, and may be starting a bounce. Though that +2 isn't a lot up from PMPS. If he's bouncing, it's really good you shot full dose. Neko's first preshots with blue all lead to bounces. Rather anticlimatic. :rolleyes:

Don't forget to update the spreadsheet with dose and test. ;)

awww haha I was actually proud of him because he didn’t bounce from his low 100’s the other night! haha I was expecting a high amps!! just updated ☺️☺️ thanks so much for your response!!!
