Yesterday

So I have been giving Oliver snacks (LC wet food and freeze dried treats) at +3 and +6. Now everyday at +9 (am cycle only) he becomes very vocal and hungry. I read somewhere here that if they eat in the second half of the cycle it does something with the lantus. Is it okay if I give him 1 ounce of LC wet food at +9 as part of his feeding schedule? Thanks!!

I think it's fine to give Oliver some LC wet at +9
As long as you don't feed him 2 hours before his PMPS test because you don't want that test to be influenced by food

Feeding later in the cycle “can” shorten duration. Try it and watch to see if that happens or not. If so, try just freeze dried treats. Some cats free feed and do just fine.

Omg he is a loud one! He’s better now that he’s getting a little more to eat. I feel bad for him cause I know he doesn’t feel well and can’t help it. Love my kitty. How’s Ivy doing? How are you doing? Have you been getting sleep?

I’m sure he’s feeling the love from you and you’re doing such a great job to help him feel better.

Ivy’s been ok today. Much better mood today. When she’s angry I need to just give her space to calm down.

I just hate that I have to sedate her shortly tonight and again in the am to go to the vet. If only she would just be a calm kitty

I wouldn’t say getting a lot of sleep. But some. Better than while back living on 2/3 hours. That was the worst.

How are you holding up? Are you sleeping? I hope so!
Oliver is looking better and better I think. I hope he starts to feel better soon.
