Yesterday's thread

Well, based on where she's been this morning, I'll be increasing tonight. I'm leaving in about 40 minutes to have lunch with a friend, but since she hasn't dropped below 200 yet, I'm not anticipating seeing any greens this morning.

I'm taking advantage of daylight savings to adjust her shot time without having to actually do any adjustments. So her evening shot last night was at 6pm, and her morning shot today was at 7am, but it was still only a 12 hour cycle. And the later time should hopefully help the bf when he has to give her insulin while I'm gone next week.

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday.

Have a nice time at lunch! I appreciated reading that bc I basically haven't left the house since Falafel's DX.

Hopefully Kit is back in the greens soon :)
This is Kit's second go round, and the first time I hardly left the house for more than grocery shopping. Now, it was also during the beginning of the pandemic, so it was definitely a bit of both, and she went into remission pretty quickly. And I definitely started this go round not leaving much, but as we're approaching a year of her being out of remission, I've worked to make it so I can still do other things when possible. Because, while she's my baby and I would do anything for her, I have to be able to do things for me too.
Falafel's diagnosis was so recent, so I get not wanting to leave as you're figuring things out and getting things settled, but know it's okay to need to get out for awhile. Figuring out their schedule, and finding times in yours to get those moments is clutch. :bighug::bighug:

Good meowning Alicia and Kit.
Sunny start for KitKat this am but I trust she'll surf safely and purrrrrhaps come down tonight. Good luck with that increase tomorrow.
Enjoy your lunch with your friend and your Sunday.

Thank you :bighug: Wise words that I will keep in mind, especially since next week I have to go back to work. It's reassuring to read others posting they are leaving home, and I'm slowly getting a little understanding of how to manage fears with LC, MC, HC foods.

Have a nice Sunday!

Good luck with the increase, Alicia.
This can also be a calm before the storm - so be aware!
Hope Kitkat starts working the dose and get down safely this week, before you take off!
Happy Sunday - hope lunch was good!

A friend of mine from undergrad and I meet several times a year to have lunch at Olive Garden. No significant others, just us, lots of breadsticks and other tasty foods, and a chance to chat and rant for a couple of hours (usually how long we're there - and I try to leave a good tip since we take a table for so long). But so much tastiness. *drool*

Uh, so wasn't expecting that PMPS. Went ahead and increased. It's spring break so I can monitor as much as needed. @Mikanmama - wonder if she's doing exactly what you said earlier, and gearing up for something. Such a sassy thing she is.
